This video is so honest and authentic. I really love your personality which is honestly rare when I watch videos like this. I tend to feel that people that only create content around luxury items are out of touch and hard to relate to but you are just so real and down to earth.

Love that you told us how much you spent on everything. I’m kind of hesitant to get started with a LV planner because it seems overwhelming. I do like those Oli clips though so I might buy some for work.

Thanks for being so honest in your review. Absolutely appreciate it, especially when every channel that promotes cloth and paper never mentions the lack of quality in some of the items, esp the sticky notes. I also agree about the customer service, I had one order from them and never buying again, even though their products look nice, it’s pricey and I am trying to make my own dashboards with vellum as well and enjoying the process of customising my planner for my needs :).. Thank you again for being so honest and not coming across as pushing a particular brand like most planner channels.

Really good video thanks Jenny! Oh gosh I love the larger size LV planners ... I have the PM LV Agenda. It is small but if I need more room I just add an extra lined piece of paper. I have to be able to carry mine with me every day so it suits me. Love that you mentioned all the stationery prices. Mine was so expensive to begin with too! Will be subscribing xx

This is such great insight. I’m a planner and use my agenda everyday. Although this agenda is on my want list I’m in no rush to get it. There are beautiful agendas out there for a $100-$200 range. I do have inserts, tabs and other items to fill it up but I can definitely wait till some other things are checked off my list. Great video Jenny. ♥️

Great detail and candid opinion - thank you! I’ve had a planner for years and wish I knew more before ordering unnecessary items for it. You mentioned a handful of items in that category - I’m glad I’m not the only one that found some things unnecessary. I’ve always wanted an LV planner but opted to go with a Filofax Classic Croc planner which is not cheap but cheaper than LV. I agree if you use it daily, it’s worth it. Happy for you and your new planner!

Your planner is goals 🙌🏻 the simple, clean, and neat aesthetic has always been my favorite because I get overwhelmed easily. I’ve actually been thinking about what kind of planner set up I want to use for the fall. I love writing in a planner but I’ve been considering trying digital planning. Did you use an app for that or just apple’s calendar app?

Filo fits into that planner and stickers from Michaels works too! No need to spend all that money on custom inserts.

Love watching your videos. I have the desk cover agenda mono and I love it. I went with this option for the same reason you stated on the damage on the rings. Ive had it for two years now. I used to carry it with me but got heavy. I recently got pocket agenda in Damier to carry with me as it fits in all my small purses. I have to have something to write on at all times. Great video as always.

I agree with you on the cloth and paper page flags not sticking well or being sticky on both sides. I love the look but not functional if don’t stick. I also finding this to be true with their post it notes. But I do love their quilted A5 planner and daily inserts and they are not expensive like the LV planner and inserts. I do have a personal and pocket planner from LV in Black electric epi and I love these as well....I do like to rotate my planners around because I am a planner junkie but I really like the A5, especially since I am working from home these days. The lv agenda is oh my wishlist. Desperately needed an a5 agenda so I just got the Filofax original in brown which was blessedly on sale. Far as inserts go, I’d been tempted by the 8Lotus and Cloth and Paper inserts but it’s a b*tch to ship them to Canada so I went to work on Photoshop and made my own which I then printed out on Kokuyo blank a5 sheets. It works for me because it’s completely custom made to how I typically like to use the planner pages.

This is a great video, but some of the info regarding the pre-loved market is incorrect. Pre-loved LV agendas are going for at or higher than retail because LV cannot keep them in stock. I’d advise going new, due to those prices. Also, you can definitely get your money back when selling an LV agenda. most serious buyers know these items are rarely in stock online or at LV boutiques, so they’re willing to pay a premium for them. And as far as the wear goes, that’s always going to vary based on the user. I have several LV pieces, from handbags to SLGs, and I haven’t had many issues with any of them. I also don’t baby my items and use/enjoy them...YMMV.

Preloved GM prices that I have seen run from $500 to about $700. Condition can vary greatly and sometimes people include inserts, stickers and etc. I have both the mm and GM and love them both. My GM is more my desk agenda....I take it to work (pre COVID) or my home office. I will carry my mm everywhere. I carry my insurance cards, business cards, and notes. I will transfer any important stuff to my GM later, if needed. I am a minimalist and generally my planner has the most simplistic layout. I may use stickers to reference things. I like the Cloth and paper messages, engineer pad, and journaling cards. Oh and the pink dividers. I do wish they would laminate the tabs so they don’t bend (mine did from carrying in my bag.

a lot of people actually sell for close to the same price and people will still purchase! i think htis is mainly because the agendas are sold out most of the time online and they're hard to find in store. thanks for sharing!

This is a very informative and honest video, thank you. I love my LV desk agendas but have resisted buying the MM or the GM rings. I have a vintage PM, which I rarely use it. I like the LV rings but I'm honestly quite happy with my other brands like Filofax or VDS. I especially like compact Filofax planners (smaller rings and a smaller cover). I definitely won't ever get the GM but I'm not making any promises on the MM, lol. I tried digital planning but I need paper open in front of me all day. I can do future planning digitally but my current weekly/daily needs to on paper. I agree with much you've said about Cloth & Paper. Their products are beautiful but I feel certain inserts are pricey whereas I can pick up inserts I like just as much from other minimal lines for less (like Poi and Hun). Some of their items are bulky too and since I prefer company rings, it fills up my planner too quickly. I also had a fail with some of my sticky flags but absolutely love the drops/dots. I also like the large transparent but not the flags as you've mentioned. For the Sarasa Dry, I buy mine from stores that specialize in Japan stationery.

Jenny don’t think about the cost, that Agenda will help you. At least your learning about what and what not to buy from C&P. I had the same issue with C&P. They sent the wrong product 2x. I like to order pens from them. I was with a subscription but started getting too much stuff.

I am finding that pre-loved MM and GM agendas cost as much if not more than brand new. This is because LV keeps running out of stock

Awesome video, and listing of costs. I finally bought my first lv mm in March, and I paid $450. It was preloved but in excellent and almost new condition. I had regular planners and planner covers, mostly Happy Planner, but decided to treat myself and grab this deal. But over the past year I have spent on Happy Planner items. Mostly stickers on sale of course (lol). I finally have my agenda the way I want it for my mm and although it was alot to me but I have the dividers and inserts I want so I have planner peace right now. The only refills I will buy again will start again in 2021. Needless to say I am stingy when spending money so I am set lol. I know plenty of others who have spent and spent on planners alone. I am done for now!

Love your videos! The total cost is shocking, but for me, the cost of my planners is definitely worth it (I have Gillios, LV, and VDS). Given my career, family, and personal schedules, planners are absolutely necessary and worth it. I’ve accomplished so much since I’ve become more dedicated to my planning. Not sure if you do this, but maybe cut slits in your inserts where the ring holes are so you don’t have to open your rings all that often.
