Honestly, don't know for sure but I guess sizing would be consistent across all models because it wouldn't make sense to differ with their "W" and "E" sizing. Doesn't hurt to go into the store and verify as well or call LV to verify that sizing is consistent across all models. Thanks for sharing your experience!

@@feelgoodfour9839 Most definitely, thank you for your advice! I have the LV Distorted sunglasses in Western as well but those aren’t tight on the side of my head. I want to get the LV Cyclone next but if the Easter are in reality bigger than the Western then I’d rather go with the Eastern.

They both looked the exact same no difference. It would honestly come down to conform over looks in the end.

@@growinlegit Let's based things on SPECS and not "big or small nose" The specs on both the E/W 1.1 evidence tapered square sunglasses are 60-13-145. The W has a tighter nose bridge, tiny nose pads that sit highe near the nose bridge and the E has a wider bridge, bigger nose pads that sit lower (On this video you can also see the difference that am speaking of).

Screw if I’m ordering the E than!!!!! Because I’m about to order the same glasses, I got a big head so I just want them to fit correctly ! Lol but I’m getting mixed directions on what to do. Everything online says order W but people are saying E is bigger.

For a bigger/rounder face, I would recommend the "Eastern" (E). It's the wider size when measured from temple to temple and the nose bridge is wider. If you're on the fence I would highly recommend trying them in the store. However, the E is deffinitely the wider size. I wear a size 7 3/8 in New Era baseball cap and they fit me, tbe W was squeezing my head on the sides. I need glasses for a large and round head, which size will be appropriate?

Also, I think I key difference is in the nose behind the lense. Western seems to have no “nose tabs” while Eastern has nose tabs. So I find my eastern fit doesn’t sit fluidly on my nose. There’s a bit of a gap between my nose the the sunglass bridge. I’m thinking W would sit directly on my nose.

Very interesting I only new about differences in the way they fit in the back nose area when it came to E vs W. I initially had W but the they kept dropping down my nose. The E version has a bit more of a notch so it grips my nose better however they still aren’t perfect bc I have a small nose as well as a small face.

The "E" is written on inside of the temple. Let me know if you need anything else and I can find them to take another look.

They are wider, it depends on your head width. However, you can also take to a shop to adjust them, they accomplish that by applying some heat to frame to be able to slightly bend. Thanks

Hi, I ordered the "E" size in this model number and find it to be a bit more suitable for my larger face. However, that is true for these and may not be for the LV clash you're interested in purchasing. To make a more sound purchase, I would highly suggest visiting your nearest LV store to try on both sizes for yourself so that you're truly satisfied with your purchase. Hope this helps!

I find the "E" to be slightly wider. The "W" fit me tight so I opted for the "E" version. So, only yes, if you're okay with them being a bit wider. Sunglasses can also be adjusted by a professional. They apply a small amount of heat to the frame and bend it ever so slightly. Good luck!

So many different types of noses and faces so it's hard to cater to all of them. It would have been great if they would have provided more size options. We all have different prespetives so I respect and understand what you're saying. In my hunble opinion, I ordered both versions and measured them from temple to temple, and there was a clear difference in size from the two versions. The Eastern, East, or E appear also appear to be slightly larger when I tried on both. The bridge on the E was also wider. Thanks for your input.

@@dexterramos7212 In my opinion, they appear larger. I had the same issue and bought the Eastern and was much happier as they cover more of my face. The Westerns on me, looked small as well. Give the Eastern pair a shot before you give up on these. Hope this helps..

These glasses are definitely on the heavy side and you have to get used to them. Keep in mind the "E" fits looser than the "W" version.

Yup, the "W" squeezed my head as well so bought the " E". RIP to Virgil, glad I have a piece of his legacy with these glasses.

This is not accurate information. Did you watch the video? It literally has the dimensions written on the sidearms E: 58-17 W: 55-17. W is not wider

Bottom line, best way is to try in person instead of betting on online info. ✌️ LOL I did some research: the 58 and 55 you are talking about is the size per lens. So if the nose width narrower, that means there’s more space for the lens, that’s why the lens are bigger but the entire width of the frame is the same for E and W, as what I’ve seen at the store. 17 only measures the top part of the bridge, the lower part is the main difference, E is narrower and has more padding, W opens up wider and has less padding.

@@zthology Yes, like me.Someone who tried on multiple pairs with E and W fit at the LV store. I just purchased the size W because I have a smaller face/head, contrary to what you said W being wider. Like I said, the dimensions are physically on the glasses indicating the measurements. There should be no confusion. Just trying to clear things up because your comment might mislead people.

Yeah, they swore that the W was for a bigger face. They were wong! Had to find out and glad that they offered the E. Love the fit of the E, otherwise would not have been able to wear them. Glad you found second hand, enjoy your glasses!

LV told me the same: that Western was for wider faces. They misinformed me, I found out that the Eastern is wider temple to temple and fits wider faces better because I bought both pairs to compare. Bridge of nose is wider on Eastern, thus making glasses wider temple to temple. I have a wider face and I kept tge Eastern and I loce the fit. Thanks for your comment!

Nirrad are you talking about the evidence 1.1 with the flat top and the kind of square tapered lenses? Are the eastern lenses smaller as in not as tall? Or did the western have a taller lens?

No, the hinges and temples don't have much flexibility.

Yes, it's all about preference and the "e" works for me because tne "w" was too small. Hopefully one of the 2 works for you bc the sunglasses are very nice. My main purpose for uploading this video was to inform others wishing to purchase these sunglasses. LV had told me that the "w" was bigger and I found it to be quite the opposite. I recommend other try going into the store and trying them on if they intend to purchase. Thanks for your input!

That's pretty much what LV stated when I called. In reality, the nose bridge on the "Eastern" is wider, making the sunglass frames wider when measuring from temple to temple when comparing to "Western". Eastern (E) =wider nose bridge gap than "W" and wider frame when measuring from temple to temple. For larger faces. Western (W) = More narrow nose bridge thus more not as wide of frame as " E" when measuring from temple to temple. For smaller faces.

I was bummed out initially when the first pair I ordererd (W) were too small on me, tight on my head. Luckily I went into LV store and saw the difference and happily bought the "E" and returned the "W" when I noticed the difference. Never paid this much for sunglasses but I don't have any regrets, love my "E" sunglasses and hope you do to.👍🏼

It was my Father’s Day present from my wife and kids. For Mother’s Day I bought my wife a $1,500 Louis Vuitton purse 🥴 and she never buys stuff like that for herself and I wanted to treat her because she deserves it. My sunglasses should arrive today can’t wait. 💯👍🏼

@@o.g.5584 That's great, the glasses are very nice, sure you and wife are going to like them. I agree, life is short and you have to treat yourself. Otherwise, someone else is going to be enjoying all your hard work when you're gone.

You can take them to a sunglass repair shop or maybe Sunglasd Hutbor etc so they can adjust them. Acitate (plastic) sunglass frames can be slighty heated which makes them bendable. I've heard people say they have used a blow dryer and then slighty adjusted them to fit. Although it can easily done, I would highly recommend to take them to a professional.

@@feelgoodfour9839 I got it done at Spec savers as I live in the UK it’s a bit better but not perfect.I was told it’s a shorter frame and can’t be bent a lot as it might damage it.I went to LV store who are clueless didn’t know what to do..
