Unboxing my new Louis Vuitton Multicolore Speedy 30! This Fashionphile Unboxing of 2022 features one of my favorite Louis Vuitton bags, and I'm so excited to share it with you all! I decided to buy myself a new Louis Vuitton to celebrate surpassing 1,000 subscribers, and to mark my first year on KZfaq. Obviously this multicolore Speedy 30 is no longer produced, so I had to turn to Fashionphile for this unboxing. Takashi Murakami created the multicolor monogram in the early 00's and it was an instant success finding itself on the arm of every IT girl from that era. I currently have the Louis Vuitton Multicolore Marilyn in the noir, and I'm so excited to have added the Speedy 30 as well. These are going to be right at home in my designer handbag collection.
If you're into channels that include luxury fashion, shopping, luxury unboxings and reveals, luxury travel, and daily vlogs- basically anything that has to do with life and style, then this is the channel for you! I’m currently in the same boat you were a year ago. I have wanted this bag for 20 years too and couldn’t afford it as I was also in hs in 2003!!! I’m happy to say I’m receiving mine today! I like saggy monogram Speedys, but for me, the Murikami needs a base shaper or an organiser. It looks better with structure. I have the white one. Love it! It needs a bag spa! You definitely need a white Murikami Speedy! Zane is frisky again. He must need his own channel! LOL! Thank you for the video! Love Murikami and there is no such thing as too many of them!

I love a structured Speedy! Funny enough, this bag doesn't need one. After I got all of my stuff inside, I realized it had minimal to no sagging- which is great! Thank you so much!! Haha, it's fun filming with him 😆 OMG, yes, smell does sometimes play a factor- I had that horrible Coach clutch from eBay a few months ago. I still haven't used it, it smelled horrible. I usually only have a smell issue from eBay purchases. This Speedy just smells like an older Louis Vuitton haha- it's a specific smell 😆 . I'm so excited to hear that you got a Balenciaga!! Which one did you get?!!

Congratulations, Caleb! Talk about delayed gratification, 20 years later. She is just to die for. Such amazing condition. By the way, I heard about kk leathers from a heatedmess. They paint bags and her work looks absolutely amazing. I think she would be someone great to touch up the LV silk screen if you ever need it. She's already booked out for this year though, so maybe book her now for 3 years' time when you might want a spot😄 No i did not notice that the tab was just a petal🤣

Yes!! Isn't that crazy? Luckily I'm 6'7" so it didn't *look* like luggage.. oh who am I kidding? ...it probably looked like luggage lol! I've had so many Speedys over the years- and I wish I still had my original ones- but this is the start of a new Speedy collection! Haha, the IT girl era was fun though!

Absolutely GORGEOUS. Black multicolore is my favorite, which is hilarious because back when I was buying this collection new I only bought white 😂😂😂 I swear if this speedy wasn't so heavy, I would absolutely already have one. I went with the pochette accessoires and I love it 💖 Beware of the white multicolor speedies -- the red lining notoriously permeates the canvas from the inside and discolors the exterior. Congratulations on this beautiful ICONIC piece!!

Thank you, Jane! I'm kind of the same way, back then I loooooved the White, but now I prefer the Black. I just think it looks like a city at night- so pretty! And it's soooo heavy. I put just a few things in it, and my arm was already tired 😅 it's probably the heaviest bag I have. The PA in the multicolore is so cute, I love the studs across the top. I saw that about the lining- so sad! I think they can be painted to cover it up, but I'm not sure how well that holds up over time. Thank you, thank you!! I've wanted this bag for so long!

Happy Anniversary! Beautiful! I had a Port Monnaie Plat wallet in Multicolore and none of the print chipped. But, I think I just got lucky. I Returned the Fornasetti PM because I was afraid of chipping, and the price was too high to me in canvas to take that chance. I say go for the Alma to get some variety.

@@CalebSnell I sold mine because it doesn’t fit a credit card well, and you can’t put much in it. Even when I used it to hold bills, after 5 bills it was stuffed. They are really cute but not so useful. I would have never sold it otherwise. I bought it the day the collection released! I was on a waitlist and I got a call to come and get it so I did.

I have that multicolor speedy and is still in excellent condition. Also have the white and they’re in my cabinet so won’t get dusty .haven’t used it for so long and I’m so careful with my bags.All my bags will be passed on to my daughter . Its up to her if she wants to use it or sell it later on

Thought about getting the iconic LV Multicolor Speey, but it's more common, and I prefer to get something unique. It's pretty, though. The LV Multicolor Annie GM and LV Multicolor Rita are on my wish list. I'm in love with the Annie more because I'm more into totes than doctor bags. The Rita's front pocket could fit today's cell phone size, and it is similar to a Speedy but with a detachable shoulder strap. I want to spend my money on something more unique than something more common. If I knew about the Annie bag back then, I'd not get a Neverfull. I love my Neverfull, and I can't let that go (😅). Someday, I'll get either of the Annie bag or the Rita bag. I just want at least one multicolor LV in my collection.

Congratulations! I just got a white speedy at the same website and it’s flawless. How do you feel about the side canvas not lining up with the front canvas? Is this a normal thing for speedys?

Congrats, Josefina! The white is gorgeous! Honestly I didn’t notice it at first, but I guess that’s the way the Multicolore speedys were made? 🤔 I don’t remember my monogram Speedy being that way. 🤔

@@CalebSnell i forgot to mention, take your bag out of the grey dust bag. The gray transfers into the bag canvas. My bag is white so I was able to see this right away.

Beautiful bag. Looks just like the one I sold back to Fashionphile. I will still always love this bag. But I found out that I was worn out after carrying around for just one day!

If you don't like the circles being in the front, I bet you weren't a huge fan of the "eye love you" Murakami line 😂 Congratulations on your find! The handles do look replaced to me, what with them being so much lighter than the other vachetta on the bag. I'm so happy for you, both for this bag and your YT accomplishments! PS, LOVE your robe.

Haha, that's the funny thing- I love the "eye love you" collection! I agree, I think the vachetta has been replaced in spots, but they blend really well in normal lighting. I love this bag, and I'm so happy to finally have it! And thank you, I need to wear this robe more often!

Hi Kim! So the base shaper didn't actually fit, so I ended up returning it. It turns out that the MC Speedy 30 doesn't need a base shaper- at least not for me, I don't carry too much heavy stuff in it.
