I respectfully disagree, I absolutely love this one, it's similar to my favorite Afternoon Swim but with more of a basil lime spearmint scent.

I literally spayed some on my arm 15 minutes ago it smells very good I like it because it’s sweet and light yet has some sillage as of 15 minutes ago I already got 2 compliments

I got a sample and I’m in love. It’s a little more like Afternoon Swim than Cactus Garden (both of which I have and love). It reminds me of a mojito on a summer day. Sugary sweet, fruity, minty, and refreshing. It smells amazing. Beautiful spring & summer scent!

Great review brother , I did my first impression yesterday on my KZfaq channel. I was excited to try it too . I agree with you on this fragrance as well. Smell nice but nothing amazing. I will get bottle soon because I want own the hole Louis Vuitton fragrances collection . I’m sorry you didn’t enjoy this fragrance and I had hopes too .

I think it’s a great summer banger. It;s a big fruit cocktail, with a fun, non-serious vibe. Love it, my fav of the whole line, actually.

I’ve wondered about reviews of brand new fragrances, where maybe it hasn’t had time to macerate. I wonder if you could revisit this in a couple of months and see if it’s smoothed out a bit more. You could do a whole series like that - maceration check lol. I mention it because I really liked Burberry Hero EDP and rushed out to buy it right when it came out. Over these months it’s macerated, luckily for the better (more depth of the notes). Just wondering about that with brand new releases. Nice review as always!

Going to disagree with this review -- although I largely find myself in accord with your reviews. Personally, I love the scent. Wore it for three straight days. Put a smile on my face, tbh. The blackcurrant comes through and I like the fruitiness. So, for me, completely different than your take. And as to longevity, my experience is that it is materially better than Afternoon Swim (which I happen to be wearing right now and don't like but love), and by a reasonable margin. I also just looked and notice that on the popular websites (e.g., Fragantica and Perfume), thus far its longevity is running higher than Afternoon Swim. So at least others are finding the longevity better than Afternoon Swim. Pacific Chill is not up there with L'Immensite or Imagination for longevity but it is acceptable. So, for me, it comes down to scent and, for me, this is an easy keeper. And it is well within the Cavallier mode, which I do like. I guess I must be in that "small audience" group. But, fwiw, I didn't like Cactus Garden....

Sounds like RM - next to me which is not a bad fragrance but you have to be in mood for it - look when I purchased imagination I couldn't stand it now it's my signature scent

Wow that sounds so disappointing! So many fragrances grab you with that top note and then to hit you with a bad dry down. Sad that this is one of them. Acqua di Parma makes some of my favorite, niché level freshies… from the Blu Mediterraneo line and just from the Colonia line. Especially if you’re looking for something casual to formal. Haven’t tried anything from Louis Vuitton but I want to… especially L’Immensite.

One of your critiques was the sillage and longevity but then you mention afternoon swim as a better freshy, a notoriously muted fragrance. What gives?

What would be a cheap fragrance that smells good? I've almost never found such a thing. I can't even get myself to wear Armaf's raved about Ml or SMW because the quality is too apparent. I smell it and go like... yeah... it's certainly fine/passable, and I've got these large bottles to get through, but I don't want to actually WEAR this. I feel fragrance is one of the most "get what you pay for" industries, and there's almost never any point to covering yourself in cheap.

I got a sample from LV after I bought another beautiful perfume, to be honest, I was shocked as well. Couldn’t stand the mint or menthol smell from this one. It’s awful..it’s like toothpaste. Hard pass on this.
