Gbby Ybyhuh What? That makes no kinda sense. So in essence the "concept" of high quality is only valid when there are no imposters in the marketplace available to purchase?? How does that work? If anything the presence of illigitimite copycat products should only actually enhance the genuine products level of quality when placed in comparison side by side by a shopper. This is especially true if the genuine products truly is crafted with higher quality standards in place during the production process. Unfortunately most premium brands today utilize common production processes like assembly line machined and automation which actually usually only creates moderate to satisfactory level quality products. Yet they are still sold to the public by trading off their on their reputation as being crafted as they once were by the hands of expert and well trained Craftsmen, instead of how they are generally mass produced currently...

G Gotham The left one is genuine. Bought in Paris at the LV store. There is nothing exceptionnal to buy Vuitton. It is a mass-produced brand. Cheaper than Hermès or Goyard.

Rolextasy here's the funny thing. Once upon a time luxury goods were expensive because of the quality and thus longterm durability of the products. Therefore it made sense if you had the expendable income to invest in them. Today 9 out of 10 luxury goods purchased are done so strictly because of the name brand and therefore the perception of your own wealth is publicly displayed to the outside world. Because of this shallow shift in consumer purchases of luxury items the companies that make them have increasingly across the board focused less and less on making quality durable goods that are expensive to mass producing cheap shit because they know most people are just buying it for the ridiculously overpriced logo they can carry around with them. And because of rampant consumerism that's propelled by the idea of always getting the newest model most people never own a product long enough to see it degrade rapidly because of the cheap materials and labor now being used to make these previously excellent quality products. So the companies win twice production costs go way down but product price continues to rise all based on people buying simply for a stupid brand name rather than how it used to be which is buying items as an investment in quality durable products. So nearly every brand like Louis Vuitton, Gucci, Coach, Chanel, etc are basically the same as Walmart brand products. All mass produced disposable item that are gobbling up the planets precious natural resources at breakneck speed, which in turn changes the environment, makes resources even rarer which causes conflicts around the world as entities try to gain control over them, which keeps most of our species just surviving while a select few get richer and richer. All of that just so you can feel good about yourself because you think owning some silly piece of a dead animal you carry around somehow makes you more popular, more desirable, makes you a better person... Of course it does none of those things and so you are oft in an attempt to gain the next carcass of a creature that's been dyed and glazed just so that a bunch of phony ads convince you that owning will provide for you... If you live long enough you look back at the fads of your youth as realize how silly they were or how ridiculous they made you appear. And if you live longer still you will realize that the many things you bought over time gave you nothing except brief moments of satisfaction when you first bought them followed by lots of debt, buyers remorse or guilt and a lack of any true long lasting happiness. The young are so impressionable we need to stop pedaling these phony ideas that they will find joy and peace and love in uneccessary overpriced products simply because they will "make" them become a happier human being. We don't have much time left to turn ourselves around and start acting like sensible stewards of our home, instead of continuing down this path of empty, shallow, 1 dimensional belief that the things we own somehow make us someone likeable or enviable by others. How ridiculous is that idea when you actually stop and think about it... It's insane and it has to change.

It is still quality but it is a mass produced brand and I think it is a problem when you are a luxury brand. But globally I agree with you! 👍🏻
