Which one do you prefer? Rosalie or victorine?

I prefer the Rosalie now since it fits my smaller bags easily (which I use more often recently). That way, I don't have to keep on switching my wallet unless I'm intentionally rotating it.

I don't actually own the Marc Jacobs Snapshot but I just looked it up and accordingly the size of the Snapshot is 18.3 x 5.9 x 10.5cm. The Victorine is 12 x 2.5 x 9cm, so it will definitely fit. 🙂

OMG! I love the coated canvas. Well worth it. It’s so practical! Stays clean and wipes off easily. Very easy to maintain. I love it!

I don't baby it, unfortunately 😅 It's actually worn out a little bit but my Rosalie's worst though. I guess I just don't really open the Victorine that much since I mostly use my credit card on the "easy access" part of the wallet so the button's not too awful after 3.5 years.

@@z3645abcd thank you! ❤ I love the Rosalie in rose ballerine, too. Made me really wish of putting clear matte nail polish on the button on mine when I first got it but I didn't want to lose my warranty so I just left it as is.

@@JoyceYD my button is in Rose Ballerine. I painted it with a matte clear nail polish. Used it frequently, its now more than a year old and looks good! I don't baby mine.

Hello kabayan, We have the same name and the very same wallet. Haha! Whatta coincidence 😊 My snap button’s paint chipped-off and I painted it black bec it was an eye sore. I had inquired @ LV about the repair and the quoted €60. Are you having issues with yours too, or izzit only me?

Hi Hua Yue, what a coincidence indeed! 😄 Mine's only faded so far (same case with my Rosalie as well). I did ask about the possible cost of replacing the snap button in case I'll do so in the future and was told it will be around the same cost.

Do you think it’s worth having it repaired and keep it OR it’s better to repair then sell OR just buy a new one with the brass button? I’m also planning to buy a pochette metis empriente noir (just like your other vid) but the glazing issues is making me think twice. Should I go for a classic speedy bandouliere instead?

@@HuaYue10 Have you tried to ask LV if they can replace the button with the brass hardware instead of the usual leather piece? I think that would be a better option--that is if it's doable at all. As for the pochette metis, yes sadly there are issues but I still love it though. I'm not really a fan of the speedy (no offense to speedy lovers out there 😅) but if I were to choose between regular and bando, I'd definitely go for the bandouliere! But between the metis and speedy, I'd still go for metis 😄

I did, they wouldn’t do it because they only replace the original part with the same that had been damaged. I really like the pochette metis empriente look. Maybe I should wait for “future improved versions”.

@@HuaYue10 that's what I suspected--that they will only change according to the original parts/design and it makes sense. In that case, I say always go for what makes you feel happy 😊 (as for me, I'm just dealing with the button since I prefer the pink interior 🤣). Re the pochette metis, I do hope they improve the bag further. It's a gorgeous and versatile piece!
