We call them plumeria in the U.S. This was a very helpful video especially the tips on zooming in and editing as well as the background and tonal values. Your voice still sounds a little hoarse so please try to take it easy and don't overdo things. Sending love from California. 🥰

Welcome back! Great to see the contrast comparison between the photo and the work in progress. Grey scale is a really useful tool when you want to see how far you can or should take the contrast.

Great decision to do a Frangipani tutorial. They seem simple and elegant but I have found them tricky to draw so keen to give this a go. And lovely to see you back to full colour feeling so much stronger.

Love your work! This one is so beautifully vibrant. That yellow caught my eye on your IG post...thought it might be some type of fluorescent, as I didn't realize lemon yellow was that bright. It's wonderful. Very glad you are feeling better!

Hey! Covid-recovering, too! I got some new tubes, and ideas, and managed to paint two whole swatches. (Swatches of the 2 tubes of the paint, 3x2 little cards. And that was hard, lol). I wondered where you'd gone off to! This was a lovely video. Thank you (especially the Photoshop stuff. I have PS and lightroom, but rarely use it for painting except figuring out hues after-the-fact).
