😊👍👍👍👍👍🍬🍬So this isn't the 'mill' with the long tri-angular shaped storage barn that you have shown before, or did we just not see it. Great video as always. - Are you getting a tour inside so as we can see the whole process of them making the Sugar and it's associated products.?
@AerialAg7 ай бұрын
Well honestly, most if not all have those triangular warehouses .. this one does too. You can see it at the upper left around the 30 second mark. And yes I did the mill tour and a video will be coming in the not too distant future, thanks !

@@AerialAg - Thanks for the reply. I must keep my eyes more open in future, there is so much going on it is easy to miss something although the size of that building I shouldn't have missed it, and I'm looking forward to the 'mill tour'. Are all those haulage trucks owned by the mill,? if so it looks as if they have a pretty big fleet.
@AerialAg7 ай бұрын
@@christopherlovelock9104 No, most are owned by a third party trucking company. I think they have over a hundred trucks.

Hey guys,when will you do a video of offloading holdstock sugarcane at the mill???? Nice video by the way!!!!
@AerialAg7 ай бұрын
Thanks, probably never unfortunately. The few mills that still take wholestalk cane unload it at night and they are too far away from where I live for me to film that

How long can they keep it piled before it has to get processed
@AerialAg6 ай бұрын
They try to process it within 24 hours

the cane the crane is stacking is their conveyors underneath to feed the cane to the shredder later when required
@AerialAg7 ай бұрын
No there is not. I believe the crane loads cane to the table throughout the night.

@@AerialAg that's a lot of double handling compared to what we do

@@garykemp6436 Yall don’t stack cane to keep the mill running overnight?
@garykemp64367 ай бұрын
@AerialAg No if it's road transport the mill has enough bins on the ground to store the overnight cane kzfaq.info/get/bejne/iZuoZZuf07GvaKc.htmlsi=7jrz-febS6oiYSnk and they tip straight into the the mill
@garykemp64367 ай бұрын
@@AerialAg kzfaq.info/get/bejne/m6pglZSVu8fQfas.htmlsi=JVIEUMuGy_6E48vO and the mills on rail it's the same they have enough bins to store the cane over night and the cane goes straight into the mill and the growers get paid on the sample of juice taken from number one mill

Would help out if there were a little narration

I’ll be making another video with the full process including inside the mill footage. I’ll explain things in that one . This one is just basically unloading trucks and stacking cane to feed the mill overnight
