This is. A beautiful raw version, I think it's So powerful because he wrote it, he feels it. Whoever does like this version,doesn't know LOU REED. He walked the wildside.

Once i saw in Cascais Lisboa Portugal . And before he went in sage he was playing flipper balls on the back stage. Just to descomprimir. Dont know how to say it in english. It was 1980. Imagine. So good. Didnt smoke joints toguether but almost. The close we were to the stage. Good man. Rock and roll.

Very nice & kind what you have written. I have never been in the Cascais Lisbao, but I saw Lou once in concert in the Paris Zenith (with Saunders & Quinn (1984?)) & their performance did us much good. So sad he's left us. Keep it up.@@teresaribeiro9886

Love this era of Lou Reed. Great arrangements with amazing musicians contributing to the sound. This performance along with the Ritz show in 1986 are among my favorites. His vocals are strong and concise, and the band is tight.

Absolutely amazing, love the intensity, he's putting so much passion in to this clearly visible by his expressions and mannerism throughout. Same with Quine on guitar. just great... 🙏🎸

Oh, how funny! I first heard this at my grandmother's house who allowed me to stay up late and "watch things on TV" and I loved her so much, then wowed by this song. She let me have a radio in my bedroom there.....yahoo! Thank you LOU!

Hey, I loved Bowie's sound but both versions are great. Here, the mix of bass, drums and guitar is welcomed in any bar with a band. Lou and Quinn were rockin' for sure!

I saw him around this time. Wish I’d seen him earlier but I’m grateful for the chance I had. I also had a chance to interview him which was very enjoyable. I’ll always love Lou Reed.
