Love Actually was loaned to me by a friend named John Hollins. It instantly became a favorite movie. John went on to become one of my best friends although he never knew it. He died recently but every time I watch this film memories of John all come back. RIP maestro and friend. I hope our paths cross again somewhere.

Even in this first scene you can see the loving dynamic between Billy and his manager, the way he laughs at his jokes, the way the manager handles him gently. Best love story of the movie.

Agree it's a fun Christmas movie, but you might want to watch after the kids go to sleep -- remember that one part with the couple filming, um, a certain type of film? Yeah, I forgot about that when I brought it to a friend's house to watch. No kids were present, but it was still a little cringey 'cause my friend wasn't really expecting that part -- or those parts, lol

I knew I wasn’t the only one who (after rewatching this masterpiece) can walk down the street with nothing happening around and then just burst out with “I feel it in my fingers” 1:02 - interesting fact I’ve learned quite recently this is not some kind of a gesture - it’s Bill’s hands anomaly cause he simply cannot move his ring fingers and pinkies and they’re always stocked to the palm
