I like how Theo is the only one who takes the affair seriously. Everyone else sees it as a joke at best (joe), squick at worse (Shery). Even Love doesn’t take his confession to run away seriously.

I love the little Easter literary eggs the writers put with the characters names. Love being called love when she’s incapable of real love(aka evil). Joe being anything but the average Joe yet constantly trying to be one. Even Theo means gift yet he was constantly rejected by everyone in his life

Isn’t it ironic that Love’s first victim was her brother’s predator who she literally said “preyed on his naivety and ignorance” only for her to do the same thing to Theo and his stepmom. Goes along with the typical predator MO plus it adds to her messed up savior complex, thinking she’s protecting her so called family

I feel like the point of Theo was to point out the hypocrisy of Love, where as a young girl it was easy to see that an older woman was taking advantage of a child was wrong, but when she herself is “the woman” it’s more complicated..

I know it’s wrong, but I was shipping them so hard LMAOOOOO. The chemistry between Dylan and Victoria was just too good

A quick thing I just noticed that I feel like was totally intentional is when Theo opens the door and Love first discovers Theo is Matthew’s kid (this being only second time they meet) and he says “hm YOU” I feel like that might’ve been a slight foreshadowing that Theo would become obsessed with Love (not Joe level obsessed but still)

Poor Theo. She wasn't even upset she "killed" him after all that.

Theo's character though is a freaking sweetheart and I'm glad they didn't kill off his character. I sort of had a feeling deep down that Love would somehow did what she did by the end of the show. It seriously doesn't surprise me. =\

One of the worst part of this season was when Love told Theo to leave Marta Linda and he turned back and she says Theo wait. You can see it in his eyes that He knew whats gonna happend and still turned back and she punched him. I cried when i saw it. I hate her for doing it. Theo was like the only good thing about this season.

It’s crazy how well played Theo is, I know this one guy who’s 19 and totally acts and does everything like Theo yet the actor is late 20’s I think. He pulls off his age in the show really well

This is some Wuthering Heights level dark romance. Joe doing his same predictable romanticizing awfulness, Love tragically obsessed with him, Theo tragically obsessed with her... if she had only let herself love the person who loved her, and done it all the right way instead of treating him like a side piece, she could've been happy with someone who *actually* cared about her. But of course, both she and Joe are not good people. Neither of them could let go of their flaws... their obsessions. God, it kills me how sweet Theo was. Here I thought he'd just be messing around with her, but if she'd only not been in love with Joe I think he would've forgiven her anything. Not that that's healthy.

after like 2 years i’ve almost just realised how much love manipulated this poor kid. their relationship isn’t supposed to be cute or destined to be, he was a KID. if the genders were swapped love would be hated

theo deserved love more than joe ever will. im not saying love was not toxic, but she was generous and protective. theo would value it. EDIT: i do not support love or joe. all i meant to say is, with what love really desired ( a good, bright future for her child and family) was something theo would be more likely to consider, not joe. he is easily distracted and has 0 perseverance, and negligible dedication to his family.

In the end I felt pitty for Theo when I realized how Love played him. And as much as some people not like Joe(Theo stans), Joe did end up saving him where Love did not. That's why I like Joe as a person more then love, there's this sense of cruelty in Love that Joe somewhat lacks, he will try saving people if he has the option to do so, Love would never let a liability live.
