With regards to Love Bugs, maybe it was a fluke, but I had crazy good luck finding them on the lower flanks of The Frozen Tooth. I wasn't up on the rocky top but further down where the ground transitions more to a soil look but still looking like I was on the mountain. Tribe went hunting last night and our base is right next door. So I was lazy. Screw travel time, I'll just hunt here. Others went a bit further and scoured swamp lands, redwoods and beaches. They all found two to five bugs. In the same time I found twenty two. As I called out my good fortune, others did sweeps around Far's Peak and Winter's Mouth but did not have the same luck on other mountains.

Nice! I'd say I've had the most success finding them in the Redwoods, found 2 next to one another and another time found 3! That's a lot of bugs though, i'll have to check out that area some more :D

@@BEYPlaysGames Continued success for me on the Tooth. South side sweeping equally around to both the east and west flanks. North was lighter. Seem to respawn at the same locations so am getting a pattern down from hot spot to hot spot. Bagged over a 100 hearts in pretty short order.

They will but not like the default survivor items...say if you die you will need to still recover your body with the skins on!

It's just the emotes sadly, if you die with them on your character you'll have to retrieve your body with the skins on!

Gonna guess BEY is a Nitrado customer? For a while after the mod had dropped there was some glitch at some unknown point between Wildcard, CurseForge and Nitrado where the mod was not showing up in the Nitrado management GUI. Couldn't even put in the mod ID by hand. Since fixed for all. There was a temp fix that even before Nitrado was calling it out with a note in their GUI, was being referenced in an Ark channel on Nitrado's Discord. If you can stand the toxicity and can filter the misinformation, their Discord often will have early nuggets of real information. Mine at your own risk. ;) (mod was flagged as not being cross play, so had to set my Nitrado to Steam only, then the mod showed up)

Can I retract my statement? 🤣Ofcourse it was never possible in ASE but I had to try it now in SP, it seems in Single Player you can have both events active, Raptor Claus still spawns and so do Love Bugs, but can't see any Pegomastax Grouch's or Santas Big Helpers...I'm honestly on the fence, I can't see it working well with 2 events active at the same time, hopefully someone else will comment that knows more about it :(@@halica4131

Once crafted they will go into your cosmetics tab inside your inventory!

@@llllllllllzlllllllll3309 I don't think you are able to take event skins like this from Single Player to a server sadly! Once you craft them, they are tied to your player, so whenever you die with them you have to recover your body, so if you are wanting them on a server you'd have to craft them with that character on that server! That is how I understand how these skins work. I might be wrong though!

I've heard from other people that having other mods can stop events from working correctly, do you use a modded smithy at all? That is one of the most common mods that won't allow the event holiday tab!@@Ellisc09

@@BEYPlaysGamesI would say that is a deliberate and thoughtful choice not to crank the multiplier. If Wildcard had gone 3x or even the 4x that I see some of the more aggrieved members of the community demanding, think of how much chocolate a small pack of dodos would get you. Don't make an item that cuts taming in half, insta heals tames *and* cuts down mating timers an absolutely trivial item to acquire.

@@BEYPlaysGames I can't remember. Seems right since I don't remember sitting around and fishing a lot. Fortunately have a tribe mate now who loves fishing outside event times. She already went through the 100+ hearts we grabbed last night. Anyone getting much candy from the fertilized eggs? I boosted up our dodo egg farmer army and have gotten some reasonable chocolates (roughly 25% have chocolate) but zero candies.
