What an amazing combination! I make camp apples with the core out and corn bread and brown sugar in the middle. Brown sugar and bacon are a super combination.

Love the recipe and will definitely try this! I do put bacon grease in my batter and when the cornbread is done, I take it out of the pan, flip it, and pour a melted stick of butter over the top. Wrap it in aluminum foil to keep it hot! Yum

Not an Aussie thing this cornbread vut reckon I'll still try it..could you next time explain about yellow & white cornmeal?? Which to use for what recipes?? Many of us watching arent American...so we need to see packaging to know what to look for..i actually saw canned american pumpkin puree for the first time..yest..in my supermarket..$ 4.80 a can!! Fresh Pumpkin is about $3.90 a kilo.!!! Fresh is still a bargin !!

Unsubbing. Why? After doing some binge-watching of dozens of your recipes, I cannot find a single recipe that is nutritionally sound... Low fat, Low salt, Low sugar, Low carbs, and/or Healthy, etc... 🙄 I love you as my eternal sister Christ and in His most Holy Name, but I'm out.
