Hi Paula! I have been following you since 1996. My dream and wish is to visit Savannah and meet you, but my husband and I this summer is building our Dream Farmhouse! My kitchen will be the most important part of the home and I can't wait to cook one of your recipe's in it. You are the reason I Love to cook for my family. You have taught me everything I know about cooking. I lost my mom in 96 and I wish she would have watched you. She would have loved you! We live near Rehoboth Beach De and Ocean City Maryland. Going to do day trips on Ferry to Wildwood New Jersey boardwalk and local shore trips with water parks. Also, fruit picking for cobblers and canning❤️

Last vacation I was on was 43 years ago. (Seriously) I would love to go somewhere where I wouldn't be super-hot, etc. A place that'll take my breath away, as well as relaxing my mind, too. 🇺🇲 I think this sounds very close to the Calgon, 'take me away!' commercials from 'back in the day.' ♥️ Wishing y'all a happy, beautiful week. ❤

Paula the nicest thing about starting my morning is watching your awesome show with Eddie, Theresa and family and also when Mikey adds his satire hehe. Time to show us more of the chickens too I was a farm boy and loved growing up gathering eggs and having pet chickens. I am a registered nurse and a opretty good cook learning from my farm women mother and grandma. I love seeing Aunt Peggy and please share her more with us and her cooking talents. Ms. Paula, first of all, your blouse is just beautiful! How lucky John is to learn next to you! Growing up, I self taught at age 10 ( my single mom was working and going to school). I have watched every show, own all your cookbooks. You inspire me daily.I’m 57 now and teach my 10 year old son. Started him in the kitchen at 6. His curiosity matches mine. Always good to learn self sufficiency.❤️ We’re going to make this braid this afternoon, thank you! Much love💕

I take my grandkids camping every summer. I take the boys for a week (13, 11 & 6) and the girls (5 & 3) a different week (Mr stays home as he’s chicken). We have an RV so life’s easier for me with some modern conveniences. Some of my grandchildren are now adults but they still love spending time with me. I’m 63, young enough to keep up with them. I never knew my grandparents so this time with them is precious.

RT. I was raised by lovely people who told me not to put up with bullies. Why are you defending a woman who always has to be in the spot light to the point of correcting a child on camera especially when he was doing it correctly? I will always defend a child being ridiculed by an adult regardless of people like you thinking she can do no wrong.

I remember going to Disney World in the '70s, they never had characters wandering around. That must have been a decision by the top corporate elite after MY fact, haha. Who can honestly afford a Disney cruise? Not I. Anyhow, I feel it should be EVERY parent's duty to teach their kids how to cook! No one taught me but I did it because I LOVE IT. Paula, you're truly blessed with your sons and your grandchildren. John's precious. And, this recipe looks delicious, thank you.
