EXACTLYYY! i went out for coffee the other day with my friends I hadnt seen for a while, and we were talking about our "ideal relationships" and while they were explaining their idea of love, I felt so disconnected from what they were saying. Most people see love as this possesive thing, wether I believe that when you truly love someone, you simply just let them be. Like a flower in a garden , if you truly love it, you just let it be. You dont "owe" them, you just embrace who they are, and allow space. You dont seek to drain their energy, as you have found the source of love within you, you simply share this beautiful thing. You aknowdlege who they are. Thats how i see love. So yeah, I guess we can all redefine the idea of love.
