The booklet would be my favorite every time. The recipes sound amazing . The crisps sound yummy and the chocolate too. That wood vase is gorgeous . The ring is very pretty.

Lemon menrinque pie is probably my favorite pie (if we're not counting pumpkin pie 😉), so I was excited for that recipe. I can usually find shallots, but leeks are definitely much more seasonally available at my grocery stores. It's been snowing for days, probably the last proper snowfall of the season for us, but we're already on our second batch of soup, lol. I don't mind chips in a sandwich, but these were so good, I enjoyed then straight out of the bag, one perfect chip at a time (mine were luckily not crushed at all), nom. The grain on my wooden piece is definitely a lot more plain than yours. The ring is gorgeous, but I do wish it had been earrings instead, lol. It was a beautiful box as always.

Yes I did like the earrings we got a while back. I’m in Palm Desert and the weather is weird. There was snow at like 4000ft which is really low. I do love the crisps that Katharine sends. Here’s my controversial question: is cheesecake a pie or a cake? I hold that it’s a pie despite the name.

@@mauinoel I guess it does have a crust 🤔 You might be right, though the best cheesecake imo has a texture that is much more cake-like than pie-like, lol. That does sound like weird weather, we're at 6.7k here, so sub-freezing temps and even snow into May isn't weird.
