About our guest:
Riyas Salim is a Social Media Influencer who got very popular after Big Boss (Malayalam) Season 4. He is a supporter of LGBTQIA+ community and a Feminist. He is also a KZfaqr and uses this platform to speak up for the rights of women and LGBTQIA+ communities. He is an Engineer by profession, a content creator and a popular figure on Instagram.
This conversation is a two-part series where in the first part Riyas explains what non-binary is and why all of us as a community should fights for the rights of women and non-binary people. He talks about gender pronouns, sexuaity and sexual preferences and why is it important to state the pronoun for each and everyone. Why is it necessary to be inclusive and talk about all sections of the society in terms of gender.
The second part of the conversation delves into his life journey and describes the relation he shares with his family and friends. Riyas reveals his sensitive side as he speaks about the challenges he has to deal with when he decided to live his life on his own terms. The mental health issues, the cyber-attacks and bullying, the social isolation and pressures from all around...just to live life the way he wanted to live it.
On the occasion of women`s day, this conversation is relevant as it talks about how misogyny exists in the society, why is it so important to talk about Feminism, being a Feminist and women`s rights. It is impossible to talk about equality, women empowerment and women`s rights without factoring in the rights of every single person who exists in our society especially the LGBTQIA+ community.

Very true 💯 Masculinity is always considered as a strength while femininity is portrayed as a weakness. Even women who are feminine in expression are considered weak. Be it masculine, feminine or any other form of gender expression, it is not what determines your strength. So happy to see such issues are finally being spoken about. Waiting for Part 2❤ He's the first person in the entire history of BB Malayalam or any TV show in malayalam who discussed socially relevant topics that reached to millions of audience and enlightened them... Some of the Topics he discussed include: 1) What is 'Season of Colors' and LGBTQIA+? 2) Gender Discrimination 3) Mental Health ( Psychology vs Psychiatry) 4) Single Parenting 5) Toxic Parenting 6) Freedom of wearing clothes we like 7) Gay Adoption 8) Feminism 9) Gender Roles 10) Menstruation and stigma around it 11) Sunnath Kalyanam 12) Women Card 13) Social Conditioning from Childhood (Gender Bias) 14) Gender Stereotypes 15) Sex Education etc etc He'll be remembered in history for making this change❤ While some toxic fans of a toxic person continuously attacks him, there are people who understands him and supports him... man I love his communication skills, the way he speaks and carries himself up,.despite being degraded brutally by a few people is remarkable indeed. He was not only the game changer, but was also the real winner of bbs4. He was obviously one of my favourite players in that season. Even during the finale week i did cast my votes for him since I believed that he was deserving. He spoke several topics such as LGBTQIA+ community, menstruation, etc. some of which were even believed to be a taboo to be spoken in a public platform Riyas we admire you for your real and natural verbal skills as well as your singing talent. wish you would soon become a bright star in the singing field. you are immensely gifted with a melodious voice ❤️ .

Yes.. See what an interview is.. The questions thrown at Riyas and the "Mr. Popular"are if two different classes.. The questions articulated so well and answers clear and confident.. Not like the giggle packed interviews with questions like who kissed first and where kind of cringe questions....

@@nizasworld8631 ഞാൻ ഒരു റോബിന്റെയും ഫാൻ അല്ല. കുറച്ചു maturity ഉണ്ടെന്നു കരുത്തിയിട്ടുണ്ട് റോബിന് പക്ഷെ അവന്റെ അലറി വിളി കാരണം അതും പോയി. ബാക്കി maturity ഉള്ളവർ ധന്യ, അപർണ ഒക്കെ ആണ്. വേറെ ഒന്നിനും ലവലേശം ഇല്ല.

This shows how much pain Riyas has gone through his whole life since from the childhood.
