Kuan Yin is the bodhisattva of the Heart Sutra. She can be the kind heart, the gentle heart, or the wild heart. But she is always the embodiment of compassion.

Hearing the specifics of how you work with the deck is, as always, very helpful and can be applied to other decks. I am very interested in your contrast/comparison with the Kuan Yin Oracle also by Alana and which I use on my altar at work. P.S. Although the sound is tinny through my laptop speakers, it is great through my logi head phones...

I wish the card meanings *were* still long, but this deck has been republished with a different backing and a 140-page book. I think the original oracle as you showed it is wonderful, but I'm not as interested in the new version. Looks like Isis Oracle is still in its original format, so I'll probably go for that one.

I love the art in theory, but I’ve never been able to use it because it makes me super uneasy that a Chinese artist is making money from using Tibetan themes. The Chinese have long repressed the Tibetans and their cultural expression. If he had been say half Tibetan or had grown up somewhere very close I wouldn’t feel so bad but I looked him up and no such thing.... to be honest I was a little shocked when this deck came out. I only am reluctant to get rid of it because the art is so beautiful 🙁
