pile 2. i agree. unfortunately i was the person who told him all of the reasons why we should be friends and not together (one of them being although he and his wife have been separated for years - living apart - he is still technically married) and after protesting several times, he finally agreed and i changed my mind but he stuck to his guns. makes me sad. i did the wrong thing because i was scared he couldn't commit. he wanted to go slowly, that's all. i was too impatient and wanted more. now he's not interested.
