I love Sting and this is one of my favorite songs by him.

“Apparently the lead singer of The Police had his own solo career…” - no disrespect, but how could you possibly not have heard of Sting? 😅 He’s basically Elton John level famous lol.

Sting (post-Police) wrote, produced and performed (with assorted brilliant musicians) some of the most gorgeous music in the last 40 yrs. He is in a class/genre all his own. If you like this tune check out some of his earlier albums: 1985 Dream of the Blue Turtles, 1991 The Soul Cages (my personal favorite), 1993 Ten Summoner's Tales. Definitely check out on youtube his live concerts in the later 80s til present. He is still performing (in his early 70s) and is just as amazing as he was in his early career. Seeing your reaction motivated me to re-watch some of his concerts on youtube last night. Just fantastic.

I have always loved this song. My other favorite from Sting's solo career is "Fortress Around Your Heart" which I highly recommend you give a listen to.

That is one of my favorite songs by Sting. The lyrics are so clever. I hope you will try a song Alison by Elvis Costello. It was off his very first album.
