This video is a WONDERFUL best scenes complilation with no dialect but a beautiful tune in background of this fine movie. It was not about sex. It was about love and romance. In midlife. In a 4 day period of time. I had seen the movie likely 3 times and read the book twice. I am now 80 and Cinlinteast Wood is in mid 80s and Meryl Streep is about 65 or so. I thought this five minutes orf video was great and I will watch it likely several times hince. I am amazed that only about 1200 people have seen it. 14 gave it either a thumbs up or down. I comment of a red heart before this comment of before mine. I will sum it up as this. A sweet little mid life adultery story with lovely scenery, good story. This video showed it did not need words. Thank you Mr Oldies for posting it. Almost 3 years ago.

This is not about love or intimacy. It's about a bond that is so deep that every cell in your body is awake and feels everything around you. Most of us never experience this. I've searched an entire life looking for it. For those that find it treat it gently and respect it.

Eastwood said the rain/door handle scene took a month to edit and get right. It pierces all of our hearts because at some point in our lives, we faced or will face a serious choice with trembling hands deciding our fate.

Cried for hours. When I watch this movie again and again, I always stop at the scene where Clint is standing in the rain watching and waiting. Can't take no more after this. Sobbing like a baby

I lived this 45 years ago, and every day since then. Watching this always brings a tug at my heart and a tear in my eyes. These two spent the rest of their lives in love with each other but never having any further contact until the package arrived at her home after he had died.

Clint was a musician in his own right, he composed this song and chose all the music and singers on the soundtrack of Bridges of Madison County, 1995 movie. Poignant yet haunting love story between two people, for just a little while in their lives.

How I adore this most beautiful love story. I watch it time & time again & it never ceases to move me. I've always loved Meryl Streep & pairing her up with Clint Eastwood was such brilliant casting. This quote, as said by Robert Kincaid played by Clint Eastwood was & remains so relateable.... "The old dreams were good dreams; they didn't work out, but I'm glad I had them."

I still come back to this and I still feel the love from someone the kinda love that's once in a lifetime I've never actually felt completely loved but here lately I've felt it in my heart and soul I feel it will become real and I will have the right kind of love that I've wanted all my life a feeling of much compassion and laughter and feel needed and appreciated for my heart and being able to be myself around this person also just peaceful environment that what's missing from my heart for so long God knows my needs and wants!yours truly W.C.

I read the book and saw the movie when it came out. The Bridges of Madison County music CD was only the second CD I ever purchased. I've let it play for hours on end. Few men have seen the movie as often as I. I often reflect back on the time my ex-wife and I went to see it. If only bliss would linger and not be destroyed by petty egos...

I have thought I felt this kind of love several times before. But it turned out to just be a neurotic obsession. 1st one haunted me all throughout college. We hooked up once, then after college, lost touch. I’ve found him online, but won’t contact him. I can’t go through more rejection. I’ve been married 3 times and still looking for this feeling. Now, at 60, I think I’ve found it. I’m scared it’s just another obsession. I stepped out of my comfort zone and actually told him my feelings. He says he doesn’t feel the same, and we’re still good friends. I hold out hope and pray. Either let it happen to him or make these feelings stop in me. I have 2 kitties who are my babies and for now, I shower all my love on them. I will never date or marry again, unless it’s him. All my best to you. I’ll pray you find love, as well.

I picked up the book read the entire thing on a breezy summer's day at a nice place in Maryland and I cry every time he leaves......kinda like in real life

I think this film is better than the novel, most of the movies from the books cannot compare to the original stories. Clint Eastwood was good at what he's doing.
