Love This Little Jetty Swan River Landbase Fishing.
Decided for a late afternoon sesh for Tailor and it was awesome. I love this little place so peaceful, quiet and beautiful relaxing spot.

Well done mate i was one of the blokes that rebuilt the river wall,stairs and other things there in 2015 that place has so much more to offer it’s a amazing place full of ocean life and very healthy.

Used to be a diving board on the original Jetty in the old days. Some big bastard would break it and the council replaced it a few times. It was awesome when it was there. That was a really popular spot in the 80,s. Swan has some gems

Late comment but what jetty is that and is worms or prawns good for tailor I love fishing but I just don’t know that much only whiting and Bream and want to catch a fish at least 30cm love your videos. :)

I recommend you try some gillies baitfish metal lures from bcf if you get the blue 15g one you catch fish guaranteed

Trying to get into fishing in swan river , can you recommend the best way to catch tailor, bream and flathead whether that be certain lures or bait ?? Also what leader do you use ?

Hey mate thanks for watching🤙 For me landbase fishing 7ft rod 1-3 kg, 2500 size reel, 6-8lb braid, 8-10lb leader. Lures Zman Slim Swim Pearl 2.5 and Daiwa Double Clutch 75- 95 Bait Mulie on gang hooks for Tailor River Prawn used free floating or running sinker rig with size 2 long shank hook😁🤙🎣🐟🦀🎥♥️

Hi mate I use that for combo for kayak fishing, landbase but off the beach I'd go for something bigger in rod length and bigger reel, using 6lb braid on my 1000 reel

Typical. Wind on the right not left and the cruel abuse of the fish is what l have seen Anglers do often. Those little Tailor would be good bait for a Mulloway.
