Birth of a Family: Junu and Seoyeon are a childless married couple. They want to have a baby, but Seoyeon turns out to be infertile. One day, she visits an orphanage her friend sponsors and meets a young girl named Hanbyeol. Feeling that they're fated to adopt her, Seoyeon and Junu adopts her. But after a while, they find out that Hanbyeol is suffering from a heart disease, and the entire family encourages the couple to send her back to the orphanage.

아빠분 본성은 선하고 좋은사람 였네~ 결국 사랑의 힘이 현실을 이기고 참다운 가족이 탄생했네요 ~ 요즘 자기 배속으로 낳고도 버리고 죽이기도 하는데 여기 나오는 부모가 진정 참다운 부모가 아닐까 하네요 ~ 3명의 천사들이 이 험한 세상에 사랑의 가정을 이루었네요 ~ 근데 한별이가 너무 부럽다 ^^

완전감동 ㅠ 존경스럽네요 본받고싶네요 저는 애들어릴때 사별하고 아이둘 너무힘들게키우다니이뿌것도 잘모르고키웠어요 그런데 시간이 지나고 보니 길가에 지나가는 애들이 얼마나 이뿐지 ㅠ 애들이 중학생이 되고 경제적 정신적으로 조금 여유가 생기니 불쌍한 천사들 돕고 싶네요 코로나때문에 방문가능할지 모르겠지만 꼭 가봐야겠어요 후원도하구요 아이 입양도 하고 싶지만 제욕심인듯 싶네요

민지영님 나온 편 중에 "아들을 위하여"도 눈물 펑펑 흘리며 봤는데 민지영님 연기는 미친 연기죠. 아들을 위해 신내림 받는 엄마의 모정에 넘 가슴 아팠는데 이 에피소드는 안보이네요.^^ 민지영님 나온 '주폭 마누라'도 완전 웃기고 재미있었어요. 알콜중독 아내 역할도 어쩜 그리 찰떡같이 하시는지... 불륜녀 캐릭터도 좋지만 다양한 캐릭터 소화하셨죠.

This is my favorite episode, though it is heartbreaking. The main actress is amazing conveying sad and intricate emotions. I cried so much. The kid is painfully adorable as well. The husband's acting is nice too. I wish KBS will continue Love and War drama with new episodes.

This was one of the greatest most touching stories in love and war so far , made for a great cause and showcasing some of the big problems that adopted children and their parents face in the korean society ... was such a happy ending story ! made me cry

Here it was really tough for a man to acquaint with much older kid and accept her as daughter. Even the cutie pie is so understanding that she doesn't want her parents to fight over her..But finally he expresses his true feelings. Seriously adopting someone needs a lot of courage. Hat's off that they've taken up this topic.

여기서 한명한명 잘못한 사람이 없어보여서 화가 안난다 ㅠㅠ...... 정말 모두 다... 이해가 감..... 다만 저 부부에게 금전적인 여유가 있었다면 전개는확 달라졌겠지. 결론: 돈이 짱이다

저게 돈만있다고 해결되는 일도 아니에요. 꼭 아이가아니더라도 평생 가족중 아픈 누군가를 캐어해야 하는게 보통일이 아니에요. 돈이 아무리 많아도 쉬운일이 아님

Love and war is mostly about how negativity in the family leads to divorce but this story was really heart touching and wholesome..Someday I would also like to adopt a girl and for that I need a reality check about how hard it could get if things go wrong or if I am responsible enough to adopt..Nice content❤️

TT___TT this is one of my favourite so far. I loved mom dad and daughter so much. I can understand why dad had second thoughts, but like that dude said, think before you adopt. The pain you inflict to an orphan by adopting and disowning again is terrible!! I am so glad he changed his mind and worked out the insurance. I love love love the mom, she was so loving and kind.

I was so upset at him b/c an adopted child may be born to somebody else but they're your kid no matter what. I just really wished he thought of all that before they took her back because he hurt his wife & daughter. I'm glad they stayed together b/c I would've been waiting for the wife to leave him and go get her alone. I was thinking about my mom, just how hurt & how she cried b/c she couldn't adopt.

what a great story! .. the part where the kid was returned to the orphanage and the adoptive mom knelt down and say sorry and the part where the kid was asleep and the adoptive mom remembered the day her heart fell for her the first time she met her and she cried because she cannot adopt her because they need to send her back to the orphanage was really heartbreaking, I cried so much.. good thing it was happy ending.. this episode definitely is my favorite so far and the first time I cried among all the other episodes I watched in the love and war...love it!
