@@hellblundersLOEN ent was a small agency too but they did well raising IU up. IU was not a big name and rising slow but sure. Actually IU also tried many ways from drama, musical, singing, and MC-ng like Sejeong. However, IU got a big hit SOTY with Good Day and it raised her name since then. Sejeong on the other hand, got huge praise more for her acting career. Sejeong can be big but she needs one big strike; then she needs to stay productive and hanging on like IU. That is the only way and that’s not an easy job.

@@littlecherrybloosom9950 Agree. She also needs the right timing and be consistent with her comebacks because whenever she hits it big with a drama or comeback, she would then dip into musical and theatre plays where she would disappear for months on radio silence.

This song of IU is another super difficult masterpiece after her Good Day, people trying to cover this song out there can never mimick IU's presentation. Sejeong mastered this, can feel the emotion and how she stresses on the lyrics and the rhythm. There were a few pitches she couldn't fully reach but that's good enough.

The funny thing is that their voices suits each other songs so well! That SeJeong is a huge IU fan and also was inspired by her is one thing, but that they both suit those songs so extremely well might be another. When I just listen to random songs without thinking of what I hear, I find myself listening to both IU and SeJeong singing each other songs and not realizing that it is the song of the other. Even though I know it, but at the moment it just sounds too perfect so I get distracted!
