Okayyyy the Storyboard was actually finished shortly after Dorado / was already in the works during Dorado so this has been a long time coming!

I don't really know for sure, but I think maybe he was cursed or someone stronger threatened him to hurt his clan or her and the kittens, maybe someone related with the guy who took his position in the clan? So instead of accepting someone else using him to hurt his loved ones, he just asked to be killed instead, not from anyone, but killed from the cat he loved the most and she did it even if she loved him the most because it was what him wanted.

Maybe he can't be killed unless he wants to? Since he got a wound to his throat but was fine (or maybe im overthinking and the wound wasn't that deep)

BRO THIS IS ABSOLUTELY AMAZING! The emotions are so raw and the story is SO FREAKING SAD- One of the saddest Warriors OC stories I’ve ever seen. The animation is so good, AND THE CHARACTER DESIGNS- Its all absolutely stunning! Incredible work as always!

Oh wow, the emotions. Icepeak's life is such a tragic one, being asked by the one she loves most to help... you know. Icepeak is one of my favorite characters in this series as far as I've seen. She has such a tragic story, and deep, agonizing emotions, grief, and guilt. It seems that Maroonstrike also was not around often, and never really gave Icepeak much attention, but from what I can see, he still loved her, which is good. Although, his reasoning for making the decision he did is still foreign to me. Will we be able to know nore about that or has it already been stated and i just havent seen it? Riptidesmith also seems to have a bad relationship with Maroonstrike, and could have had a role in his decision? This story is such an intriguing one, and I for one am invested. Can't wait to see more.

I actually cried from this. I actually felt tears, HOW DO YOU MANAGE????? The animation, the emotion, the chills it gives me. The lip sync at the end really was the cherry on top of this beautifully heartbreaking masterpiece. The emotions and contemplation of her decision at the end was hard to watch, the colors and frames fit so well with the mood and music. Great job on this project, should be very proud of yourself!!

I found you through this video, fell in love with the character, character designs, beautiful animation, and the story behind it from what I could tell. Had to go back and watch the others than rewatch this one. This is definitely my favorite. As for the story, from what I could tell, it seems like (sorry still don’t know the names) but the dad must’ve learned what the mark on his paw meant and maybe saw it as a curse or destruction for the clan or something and decided to ask the mom to kill him so it wouldn’t happen. And that’s why him and the snaggle tooth walked in injured together, and why the father immediately ran away. The snaggle tooth I think knows something and is trying to push the marked one into fullfilling whatever that prophecy is. Probably tried convincing the dad to do it and the dad having a good heart probably fought back in retaliation. Once the son was born and had that same mark, that’s probably why mom left the kit and snaggle tooth took over. Mom knew what it meant and couldn’t emotionally deal with it while snaggle tooth wanted to raise the kit into trusting them, that way they could easily take control of the prophecy or whatever. When mom tried to tell her son, he was raised by snaggletooth who raised him into thinking his dad was a true hero and nothing about what happened after that. When mom tried telling her son, and probably wanted to warn him what the mark meant, he couldn’t handle all of the emotions from the news and accidentally pushed her off the cliff.

I have a theory! What if Maroonstrike wanted to die so the paw mark thing wouldn't get passed onto his children and i feel like it also has to do something with Riptidesmith

theory time! SO- in this we see that something happened that cause Maroonstrike to leave the clan and flee. I believe this is because of the small animated thing we got, the 24-hour AMV challenge, Birds with Broken Wings! It included Riptidesmith attacking and attempting to kill Maroonstrike on the orders of Roseeater (the eyes that popped up) which I believe is also tied to the paw markings. These markings hold some sort of meaning to Roseeater, and he's shared part of that meaning with Riptidesmith, causing Riptidesmith to target Tailwind and train him as he grows up as seen in the Dorado PMV! These markings must mean sometiming with battle strength, as that's what Maroonstrike was, and also was Riptidesmith was training Tailwind to become, leading to Tailwind's battle with the bear in Alone With My Thoughts, leading to him leaving the clan for an extended period of time. He returns for a while but cant seem to fit back in, and becomes the job for hire rogue we see in The Wolf MAP part! EDIT- also, the markings hold some power because the meaning of the markings is why Icepeak was convinced to help Maroonstrike end his life. I also believe that Maroonstrike wasn't aware Icepeak was pregnant at the time, potentially his death was a mixture of him not wanting to be exploited by evil forces but also not wanting to pass on this mark to any young?

BDSMEKDNDJDJ, GOD YOU MADE ME CRY BRO, your art and characters have come SO far, Glacierpeak will ALWAYS be my favorite Female character. You can really tell she was suffering BAD, Marroonstrike was forced to leave because if he didn’t his father would be the cause of his demise. Glacierpeak knew her partner was in mortal danger either way and did what had to be done for the cat she loved, if she didn’t he’d just suffer to. SHES SO SAD AND I FEEL SO BAD FOR HER, Tbh I thought the Grandfather was going to be the cause of her death. I hate him either way though. You did SO well and we’re all so happy you came this far!❤😭😭✨

This is absolutely incredible; youve outdone yourself! Icepeaks is one ofnthe most interesting WC OCs ive seen out of the fandom in quite awhile. I love the way you express her pain and grief, and how you displayed just how deeply she adored her mate leading up to being torn apart at being asked to kill him. Ahh when I watched your other video about the brown cat(I don’t know his name) pushing Icepeak off a cliff, I did not like Icepeak back then (the animation was AMAZING tho), but THIS story?? Aaaaa dude, this was so heart wrenching! I had the sinking feeling suicide would happen without even reading the description- it just felt really heavy with the build-up, and the warning at the start had me bracing for something pretty tough. And that WAS tough, gosh! You did so good on this though! I feel so bad for Icepeak ;;

The way this whole thing has changed my entire brain chemistry is truly insane... This-... Wow... Where do I begin? It's a masterpiece within itself and the storyline has me WRAPPED in it. I’ve rewatched this a few times now, and it’s so great oh my god. I love how you paced the story, especially at the part where Icepeak re-opens the wound on Maroonstrike’s neck. Definitely going to binge the other videos and try to peice together the story. Also Icepeak deserves the world- and maybe also some therapy.

YOUR ABILITY TO TELL STORIES WITH NO DIALOGUE IS PHENOMENAL !! even without reading the desc I get a decent understanding of the story,,, it's such a good talent to have as an animator I'll never get over your movements,, both amv and pmv movements omg they're just so dynamic and creative no matter what and the shading?? The ambiguity in the character designs, expressions, character acting, composition, you got it all! I can't wait to see more of your animations and story because they always blow me away, I could only dream of having this much talent man

Dude what the heck, I just went through your playlist of your characters story and holy cow I am obsessed. Your storytelling and expression ARE SO GOOD! The story you've built is so interesting and dramatic, like you give just enough information about the characters, but still leave questions with each video that are answered in the next but still lead to more questions! I’ve watched it what 3 times now? A few things. Eye anatomy is so good on the falling shots, with the placement of everything it’s so easy to forget or just not do. Attention to detail is amazing, expressions are amazing, song choices are amazing. Color palette I haven’t looked too much into but most of the other cats are pale or dark fur, while the focus characters are red and lilac / blue. Another beautiful piece of work.

Omggg i swear ive been watching this animation non-stop ITS SO GOOD!!! The expressions, the lighting, the storytelling- i could go on and on!! The emotion just draws the viewer in and I love how well you paired the emotional beats to the music itself. I've always been a sucker for accentuated movement in animation and you always do it so well! So excited to see more of this story!

Alright, I've seen animations of OC's all over Yt, but I have to say, this one is definitely my favourite. The characters designs, their personalities ( which are VERY well shown through the expressions! ) the pacing with the song... 100/10, and thank you for making such a masterpiece!

i am without words, it appeared randomly to me on youtube and thanks youtube for recommend this, i love the art style, their expressions, their emotions, how u made the lore, the characters, i saw each part and things make sense, this is amazing, and i think, its the best video of warrior cats ocs ive ever seen, u used the correct song and made a very good animation, i hope i see more of this soon, this is amazing.

I've spent the last couple days rewatching this, and I am simply in awe. This is so powerful, so amazingly put together, and so sad. Honestly, you did fabulously with portraying Icepeak's emotions, I could practically feel her pain as she went through her turmoil. Seeing the ending after watching Encounter REALLY breaks me and I teared up after the realization :(( The storytelling and world building you have done in every single oc video you made has been phenomenal, and each oc video got me more and more hooked onto your ocs' lore. Even encouraged me to write out my own ocs' stories!!

i couldn't sadly watch the premiere but OH MY GOD- this is so epic!! The emotions are so well readable and relatable :0 great song choice, and especially those action shots are so great!!! The lik animation in the end with the lipsync when she fell was so cool too :0 everything in this is just perfection!! I'm honestly so stunned by how art style staying consistent! Whenever I try a pmv, there face looks to broad- then too thin, then the eyes too big- I find that really remarkable that your artstyle stays so consistent!
