Hello everyone! In this week's video, I am turning myself into cartoon characters! The cartoon styles I'll be drawing myself in are Miraculous Ladybug, Bluey, and Star Wars the Clone Wars! I am drawing these illustrations in Clip Studio Paint.

i think the reason marinette has a different singing voice in the movie is because the studio promised the french voice actress that she’d be able to sing the songs in both french and english. not sure why. 😅 it kinda sucks too because christina vee who voices marinette in english has a really nice voice as well.

I don't mind when they use a different voice actor for the singing voice if it still sounds like the character. Like a lot of cartoons, do it. It's only a problem when it doesn't sound like the character it takes you out of the movie.

Possible solution to your "wanting to design new characters but having a lot of OCs already" issue -- what if you gave some of your existing OCs different designs as if they were painted with Neopets brushes? I think that could be a lot of fun! Also you've got me wanting to watch Bluey again lol, that show honestly makes me cry because I wish i had a dad like Bandit 😭

@@MareBear06 no one else responded so I'll help you! Line variation or what others call line weight, is how there are different line thicknesses. In an art piece that just has one line thickness throughout, it might look flat or not as creative. If you have for example, a thick like outlining the piece and thinner lines inside, it gives more variety and also feels more original to the artist!

Before I watched Bluey, I thought it was something only babies would like. But when the internet was saying how good it was, I decided to watch one episode. One episode turned into like 20 or something cause I surprisingly found it enjoyable and relatable. Heals my inner child, ya know? Great job btw!

I felt the same way about Marinette in the movie, literally takes you out of it every time she sings, I found it strange that they had another singer sing her lines cuz Marinette's voice actress can sing! She does covers on her KZfaq channel so I'm not sure why they didn't let her sing her lines, it would've made the movie more cohesive imo

The French VA sings in both French and English. She and her brother sang for the characters because they grew up with the roles, and it would have been their last hoorah.

You know, you don't really need to limit yourself when it comes to OCs. Since you created many of the ones you already have for older projects or projects that have almost come to an end ("My next door neighbours" ), it doesn't seem as an exaggeration to make more, especially since you're thinking about creating more manga in the future (I'm talking about Priya's story) :) I'm saying all of these as someone who has watched your OC ranking video, I know that you do have A LOT of OCs😂 I'm just saying that you don't have to limit yourself when it comes to new ideas (including character ideas), since you are a manga creator!

You cannot believe how happy I was when you decided to make your Bluey character a King Charles cavalier spaniel breed Because I had one her name was Sadie, but she passed earlier this year and when you did that I just felt so happy because of it I don’t even know why it just made me feel so warm inside. When you mentioned the part about ocs, it reminded me of my go-to oc. I have a character version of myself that I place in different fandoms for fun. Same person, but each version of her is unique to that specific fandom. I don’t have a spot for her in Bluey or Miraculous Ladybug yet, but for Star Wars, she’s a Jedi Padawan and Shaak Ti is her master. You could try to incorporate only character you in different fandoms like you did here and it won’t technically be a new oc, it’ll be an alternative version of character you.

I LOVE all of your designs! Miraculous especially. This might be my salty side for Miraculous showing but your hero design in my opinion is MUCH better than some of the other designs. I am no character designer but some of them are terrible. But I do have a slight issue with the Bluey design though. I don't know how to describe it, but the hand on the left side(the one not waving) looks a bit...off? I dunno, it looks more like a human hand than a Bluey character arm. I observed the hands of Bluey character and it looks more like hand sprouted out from the arm while yours looks like it came from a round palm that is separate from the arm. Does that make sense? I dunno, that's how I could describe it. Either way, I love your desgins and keep up the good work!

Aw, thanks! 😁💕 Yeah, I could see that. I was referencing a shot of Bluey's mom for the arm and got it pretty close I felt like....but maybe the hand looked a bit off in my reference haha. 😅

I like how she used kwamis for inspiration, love the goat kwami for the paint brush, and the bee spinning top along with the ladybug yoyo, but I definitely go for the fox🤩🤩❤️

Awesome designs as always! And I would totally recommend watching Star Wars Rebels after you're finished watching the rest of the Star Wars movies! It starts off a little slow and kiddy, but it really gets good after a while! And if you're going to watch the live action shows like the Mandalorian and the new Ahsoka show, Rebels is essential for context!!! Keep up the beautiful art!

I completely second this! It's been a couple months so you may have already seen Ahsoka 😅 but Rebels kinda needs to be seen first 🤭 also, I do agree that it did SEEM little kiddish to me when I first watched it last year. I watched it again this year and I can't believe I ever felt it was to immature.........I love it with all my heart, the characters are so well written and so deep.......yeah....anyway 😅

I vaguely remember watching Star Wars Clone Wars on Cartoon Network as a kid-we’re talking under 10 years old-but I’m pretty sure I don’t remember a blasted thing from that time given my goldfish attention span 😅 I just remember thinking, “Ooh, light sabers, shiny! 😀”

Cavaliers do have wavier hair but the idea still comes across in your design! I saw the outline and knew immediately what you were going for. Our own dog is a Cavalier King Charles Spaniel and he’s the cutest little guy ^^

Your designs are so cool, I love them ! 💙 Also, you could use your OCs and decide to draw them with the idea "What if this oc was..?" and it could be cool like you can design characters without creating new OCs! I tried myself to turn one of my OCs into a villain for fun so I thought how, in her story, she could become a bad person and it was very fun to do her design just after so I recommend the idea 😊

Your art is so amazing! Love your art styles, and it's also not easy to make. It's pretty time consuming but it's really worth it. What if yourself turn into cartoons or animated series like Avatar the last Airbender, Totally spies and Winx. If you need a 2D cartoon to draw yourself in, then i recommend rottmnt! Also known as rise of the Teenage mutant ninja turtles! It has a unique style and the human designs make me happy:) i'm sure you'll like the art style

I recently made a Bluey oc (not self-insert) and I used multiple characters to make her, ex: Socks but with Mackenzie’s ears and Trixie’s tail, something like that. (Imo) It at least makes it a bit easier to trace the character and add other things from different characters and make it look like that doesn’t look like any of them at all.

I love these videos!! I started watching you because of this series, so these are always some of my favorites. The art for this video had such gorgeous concepts and stylizations, it made me super happy!! Also, I don’t know if this was intentional, but the diamonds you used in the Miraculous illustrations reminded me of the argyle pattern you use a lot in designs based on yourself! I thought it was a really neat detail!!
