Finally after 40 years of my life, I will be landing in London in 6 days. Staying for two weeks. I live in Miami Florida and I am absolutely not prepared for the cold 😅 at all. In fact, I bought my boots today because I only have sandals 😅. Wish me luck. Merry Christmas everyone. 🎄

Don’t worry, It’s very mild in London at the moment (between 7- to 10°) so cold by Florida standards, but you won’t freeze. Hope you have a great trip!

I’d suggest looking at the dressed windows of Fortnum and Masons in Piccadilly, which are generally the most artistic of any store, really world-class. Plus the arcades there like the Burlington Arcade and Piccadilly Arcade, which always look great.

So enjoyable! I know that these represent specific religious traditions, but travelers should consider visiting Westminster Abbey, St. Paul’s Cathedral, or Westminster Cathedral during the holidays. The settings are spectacular, the choirs are astonishing, and cost of attendance is low. Plus, angelic choristers in choir robes is such an English experience.

Just back from our 2nd visit to London. I would definitely say my favourite time was April at the marathon. Totally different experience without a doubt. The London marathon everyone was happy and hyped it was great. Even on the over filled tubes. This time I was shoved, pushed out the way of photos etc if I hadn’t seen them. Too many people wanting that social media photo over actually having a great time. All in all we still had a fab time. We enjoyed winter wonderland, but I would say Tik tok/ Instagram makes it look better than it actually is. It’s just an over sized Christmas market. Not a negative experience though, just a totally different one from the last visit. The shopping experience and food experience however was absolutely amazing. We do look forward to coming back.

Ok. I am returning to London for the first time in 20+ years and stumbled over your channel as I was looking for how to navigate the transport system ( Oyster card and contactless were not a thing back then). Can I just say well done on your channel, informative, engaging, personable and most importantly entertaining. As far as guides go I would put you up there with Janek and Honza of ‘The Honest Guide’. Did the Winter Wonderland at Hyde Park this week, damn this was the most expensive "Christmas market" I have ever been, 5 quid to get inside, and then a mulled wine is like 6 to7 GBP what the hell???? In places like Germany or so you get for that price 2 cups of it with more in it haha

Ok first off - thankyou for waiting until Dec 1st to put up a Christmas video (I know it’s still the 30th in England but I’m in Australia so 👍🏼) Just annoys me ppl starting Christmas early 😂 Second, I love London ( pun not intended but I like it )and I’m so sad I’m not there now to see all this in person!! So thank u for the next best thing ❤ We were there in late October- only for 3 days but we went to Dishoom in Carnaby based on ur recommendation- thank you it was great and very lucky we had made a booking!! The lights were up @ that point but not yet being switched on 😢 Hopefully we will be back for Christmas there in the not too distant future!! It was my husbands first visit and he also fell in love with London 😍
