The next songwriter would be Miho (the bassist) oftentime collaborating with Mao (long-time collaborator) sometimes with Miyako. And then Asami (singer), also collaborating with Mao. Midori (the shredder) and Haruna (drummer) also wrote songs.

Miyako is a special talent. In the song "Rising" the live version she plays the keyboard with the guitar on her back and in a span of two seconds flips it around to switch from piano to guitar. Never underestimate Miyako, the silent assassin, even when she is playing her brain is working on composing a new song. Miyako does a lot of the composing but they all collaborate. Asami writes a lot of the lyrics to the songs again with collaboration. Miho composed a lot with Mao and now that she is gone that leaves a lot of questions even though he has worked with the others as well. COVID at work here, studio as touring was impossible at the time, the only thing that has stopped this band from world domination!! Hey another band that is different, Asterism (3 teens) who write, arrange and play a fusion of Metal/Hard Rock/Jazz instrumentally (no vocals). Hal-Ca is a Hendrix vibe guitar master on a beat up old Yamaha/Pacific guitar that looks like it came from a thrift shop. Miyu has a custom made 7 string bass (ESP made it exclusively for him at 17 y. o.) and they are beasts that poor Mio on drums keeps in check and on point. This song is awesome on their first Blu-ray, "Battle in the East." I got out of my chair when I saw Miyako playing guitar and keyboards at the same time. Yeah, it's hammer ons power chords at predictable intervals on the guitar, but the keyboard part isn't simple. I admire this woman so much.

As others have pointed out about the song writing, Miyako for a good number of songs but Miho, not only founded the band with Haruna but has written and influenced many songs. This is why it is all the more tragic she has left. Japan will have female bass guitarists who can play to Miho's level but will they have her song writing ability? Will they have her love of metal and be able to 'gel' with the other Lovebites lady's and influence the overall sound? Miho's shoes will be very difficult to fill in my view.

This "Awake Again" studio-live" performance was presented on the third anniversary of release of their first full CD, October 25, 2020 when they were not permitted to perform for an audience. This was a LIVE presentation of the entire CD "Awakening From Abyss", start to finish, one song to the next like on that first CD. Audio, video and performance are excellent, and Haruna 'breaks the forth wall' several times and Miyako does it at least once, which drew us (watching the 'live-stream') right into the room with them. Unfortunately released as "made to order" which I call 'instant-out-of-print' and is now difficult to find and expensive if you do. I encourage management to re-issue for the sake of newer fans (without success), although I did manage to view the stream and get a Blu-ray, I missed out on the shirt, which is impossible to find, even used.

So annoying to see all those reviews of non musicians, or else very ignorant ones, amazed at someone playing three simple chords while playing a few notes on a keyboard. As for the compos, you can praise Miyako all you wanr, you'll notice a HUGE difference with Miho gone, if they ever find a suitable replacement. She was the main metal part in the band, the true one.
