It's sad and dark in the main verse and becoming more positive in the bridge and chorus. Although the song is about covid, like most of their other songs, the lyrics are open to intrepretations

Nice react Sir, i would recommend to you 2 another superB from japan Called Dir En Grey "vinushka eng sub live hd" awesome metal band with incredible lead vocalist and the powermetal neoclassical band Galneryus "angel of salvation live version" their musicians too are monstruous but your guitarrist Syu is one of the best guitarrist in the world. I get the comparison with Stryper, but don't dis them as if they were a flash in the pan and disappeared. They're still rocking hard and better than ever almost 40 years after they began. They've earned the status of musical legends. Their vocals and tag team guitar solos are among the best in the business. Give their latest song "Transgressor" a bias free reaction video. No current male vocalist in the business can touch that level. Especially pushing 60 years old. I guarantee you'll be impressed.

FYI - Stryper did not go off on their own way after the first album. Have you ever heard their recent songs and listened to any of their interviews. They are totally genuine. Sure the subsequent albums after the first were more commercialized but that was because they wanted to get their music into the hands of more people to spread their message.
