Herman is well aware of these ladies as they toured the UK with Dragon Force and we a runaway favorite of the crowds. Petite models who wear their femininity proudly in white dresses and high heels to stand out and be seen easier on stage. The drummer Haruna maybe the smallest at 4' 9" but she is a runaway explosion back there and is non stop for an entire concert with no effort or sweat. It's so much fun watching someone being blown away watching/hearing Lovebites for the first time. It reminds me of when I first saw the 'Shadowmaker' video back in the fall of 2017 and am really glad that I am still blown away four years later every time I listen to or waich Lovebites perform.

Nite Asami the singer studied classical ballet, and uses those dance moves in her performance. And she was in yhe US for a few years trying to be an R&B singer, without success, and she said she never knew what metal music was when she got picked to sing for Lovebites.

The only thing I could figure is that the Music Industry is shielding the knowledge of LOVEBITES's existence.🤐 What you just witnessed is real, no fake anything. Unlike most of the stuff we hear today. These ladies are masters of their craft. If they are known more through out the US particularly, it would cause musicians to step up their game. This puts the lazy cheap music we hear too much of today, to shame. This would mean, not so easy cash for the music exec's who would have to earn their keep. If you want to see the two goddesses really battle it out with 14 mini solos in one song, (10 of which are a classic duel) you must watch 'Scream For Me' (live). Haruna is the drummer and band co-founder with the Bassist Miho. Asami is the vocalist and was into r & b, and jazz before she was invited to the band, She also plays piano. Haruna is who I refer to as the Energizer Bunny, she just keeps on going! Lead guitar is Miyako, she also plays the piano/keyboards and does most of the music, Midori is the other guitarist with the Blond pony tail. I believe they all contribute to the lyrics. As of this writing and from my best understanding, Miho had some issues to work out and decided to withdraw from the band. I have no idea if they have recruited a new bassist. But she has the best hair for head banging, and truth be told, I have a thing for red heads. LOL. Another band or two to check out, Japanese rock/metal, Band Maid, and Gacharic Spin... (formerly Doll$Box), check out their "Take My Chance"... the drummer there sings and plays, don't be too shocked... LOL.

You've done Halestorm, the Lovebites name comes from the Halestorm song "Love Bites (So Do I)". The lead singer Asami has performed the song with Halestorm at a couple of Download Festivals. Asami's background is R&B and Soul. This is her 1st metal band. She also has a strong ballet background. The band founders are Miho (bass) and Haruna (drums) who were in another all-women metal band Destrose. Lovebites is just one of the many bands with ex-Destrose members.

Nice review. Love to see people blown away the same way I was about 2 years ago now. I would recommend some songs but they seriously have no bad songs, hell no even mediocre songs. Anything you find on KZfaq will be great. I prefer live versions of their songs but if you want some good music videos try Rising, Shadowmaker, Winds of Transylvania or Golden Destination. Asami vocalist comes from an R&B singing background. Haruna, the drummer, is a dynamo on the drums. Midori, the dark hair guitarist, is also a world class concert pianist. There's a reason there's a white piano on their stage and it's not for props. Midori, the blonde guitarist, is a technical wizard on guitar. Miho, the bassist and co-founder of the band with the drummer, Haruna, just recently left the band a few months ago. They're on hiatus and looking for a new bassist. As you mention Dragonforce and Herman li and Sam Totman you should check out Babymetal's Road of Resistance. Herman and Sam wrote the guitar parts for the song, though they don't play in this live performance, they have played live together on stage at the Metal Hammer Awards 2015.

You should check out Doll$ Boxx. "Take my chance" blew my mind. Another Japanese all female metal band with a little drummer than can growl with the best of them. I highly recommend that particular song but most of their stuff is amazingly intricate and awesome
