Lovebites has done two of the most amazing covers. Pain Killer is siiccckkk. The cover of Eagle Fly Free by Helloween is awesome. Pure talent, period.

I forgot I had the Judas Priest version on my phone and it began playing and I thought it was lovebites until I heard the voice. Lovebites did a great job covering this song.

What more evidence do we need. I played the original immediately before putting the CD into my player when this arrived as part of “In the Beginning” just over 12 months ago. I’m not a musician but I do pay attention to detail and understand what I’m hearing, even if I couldn’t begin to play it. Note perfect….as close as physically possible. What would be fun would be for someone to cue up both tracks and, if possible, play them simultaneously. There will probably be a slight tempo “creep” if one is faster than the other, but I’m willing to bet there isn’t a hair’s breadth between them.

First saw Priest in 81 and have never missed a tour since (including the Ripper years). I fully approve of their rendition. 😂. Lovebites is simply the best metal band in the world since their inception.
