I've given up thinking about which is my favorite song, second favorite, etc. My favorite is usually the one I'm listening to at the moment. What really gets me is the mix of styles they can play perfectly. From ballads to thrash, it's all good. Yes, "Frozen Serenade", you have to see the 2021 live, it's a miracle performance.

At last the penny has dropped. Burden of Time is the one where guitar and keyboard are played at the same time. Frozen Serenade is just another masterpiece featuring piano. One of many. 😆😆😆

you are not at the end of your surprises with this band. Each of their pieces of their repertoire which is composed of about fifty titles, gives in its way a mental slap. Each track has something that will turn your brain. Apart from Lovebites I don't know any other band that approaches this level of perfection. That's why I classify it mentally "out of category" and this since metal exists.

Hey BG... Another great reaction, nice to see you are getting it.. Burden of time is the guitar in one hand and piano in the other, playing both at the same time.. Frozen serenade is just a Masterpiece of a song like you have probably never heard. The level of musicienship is just from another planet.. Hell, watch them both, Burden of time is a ten, and Frozen serenade is a 20, at least.

You see, they took their jackets off and they're checking boxes bro. They're all having fun with this one but the huge smiles on Asami's face warm my heart. No question, Miyako has talent she hasn't discovered yet. Along with her guitar skills and being a world class pianist, she plays bass, drums, sings, writes a big chunk of their music, and has a little dog named Wampa she plays with too. Most talented and the best overall musician in the band is definitely Miyako, no doubt about it. And this is saying a lot considering how talented the rest of them are. Her guitar and piano playing is fantastic, she sings (and has a voice of an angel), compose (half of songs from Lovebites are hers) and also plays bass and drums good enough to write music on her own. She also understand music like few people in the world. And don't forget that she taught herself how to play guitar. Can you imagine how good she would be right now if she took proper lessons with a teacher or went to proper guitar school like Midori did (she went to ESP guitar school)? Miyako also graduated from university with a degree in music theory or something like that, so she can be music teacher.

The lyrics are fun in this song - too bad you didn't have closed captions. It's basically just introducing themselves and saying they're going to raise hell. This is their most "fun" song IMO. They are having a lot of fun playing this song as evidence to how loose they are on stage and as you said moving all over the place. Lovebites is my all time favorite band now, and being 62 I've heard a lot of metal starting in '71 with Zeppelin. Regarding most talented, you are right it's tough. Midori the shredder, Haruna the engine, Asami's vocals. Not mentioning Miho since she's gone and waiting for the fifth element to be announced. Miyako is my favorite musician ever (was Keith Emerson up until her). She composes, she is elite/prodigy level at guitar and piano. Therefore, to me she is the most talented in Lovebites. And you still struggle with 10.0, don't you. Still can't believe you haven't reacted to Break the Wall, live ZeppDiver City Tokyo 2020. If you have I missed it/can't find it. Their thrashiest Slayeresque song. Also from the Zepp DiverCity concert is my favorite song(s) - The Awakening/The Hammer of Wrath that you should check out.

If you are looking for guitar and piano AT THE SAME TIME by the same person, Miyako, then it must be the studio version of Burden of Time. If you want piano and acoustic guitar then it must be Frozen Seranade.

Burden of Time is where a certain someone plays hammer-on 5ths on guitar while harmonizing piano with the guitar solo. Sadly other than that insane display of skill and coordination, the rest of the song is average (and I say this as a superfan). Had to edit my comment as you just uploaded the song I was recommending lmao. Your reactions are 10/10 sir.

Who is the most talented, isn't that a little besides the point here.. Everyone in this band is extremely good at what they are doin' , but the whole is greater than each member.. Midori( blond guitar) is probablymore tecnical, together with Haruna ( drummer). Miyako ( dark guitar) also a super shredder, do probably have the most musical theory under her fingers, and a extraordinary song writer, she wrote Svan Song and she also wrote this one and over 50% of their material, sooo....
