Love your reaction and your album review! My personal favorite song from album is the last song, Soldier stands solidarity. Lovebites has exceeded the metal boundaries in that one. Haruna's cymbal work and the riffs / solos OMG. Just my opinion. Well done! 🤘

LB represents a new form of metal that attracts even non-metal fans. They are a marketers dream. To me, Lovebites right now are where Metallica were at with Master of puppets. The crazy thing is that I don't think they've even peaked yet..

The song is great but you can just tell how much fun they're having. It's infectious.

Japan maybe from a different planet but the lady's in Japan are showing the west how to write and perform metal, rock, punk and various sub genres of those three. There are several female bands who would have been enormous in the west in the 1980's had they been around at that time. If you would like some links to various bands and songs, let me know.

This song is so good. Even though you had heard it before, it was still cool to see your reaction to it. Thrashy yes, but Motorhead and Skid Row in there.. and a bit of blues too. It's great to see them having fun. We need more of this side of Lovebites. Can't wait to hear your full impressions of the album.

It's a coming of age record for them in my opinion. There's a lot more to it than meets the eye (ear) initially. Rounded, full, mature, everyone at the top of their game. I hope it brings them the success it deserves.

Did you even notice them goof around playing each others instruments? Like they said in the Auditions video Fami has re-introduced them to having fun in the band. 😊😊

The instrumentals give me some Motorhead vibes. Good track. And I agree the studio footage is cooler to see because you seem them as real people. I much prefer that over live videos.

The high vocal is probably Miyako. She has done the high harmonies on the other songs where they have harmonies.

Having watched the live stream, their reaction when this song came up said everything to me, they bounced around during the playing of it more so than others and seeing the video at the end of that stream just bore that out. Even Haruna had a mic on her kit!! 😎🤟

This song personifies what Lovebites does to perfection - they blend all kinds of influences and sub genres and blend them together to make Lovebites Metal. They NEVER sound like they are copying anyone. And I do love the music video. They just appear to be a tight knit group that can have fun together. As a complete album, it's awesome. If you start looking at each song on it's own, then you start picking favorites etc. Compare this album to other albums you love - how does the "complete" album compare?

Jesus,this band is...absolutely amazing! I have been a big fan since their second album and somehow they keep getting better and better.Midori and Miyako are one of the best guitar shredders in modern metal.Midori is fast and furious but I like Myiako's solos more ,she always puts a lot of emotions into her playing.

Hear a bit of I Am The Beast by Exciter in the main riff and Asami sounds like Doro when she sings "we will bring something new to this world".

this track stands out from the others on the album!!! it's true in a way because it's a hit. A hit is a track that is easily engraved in your memory and sung. But this is not for me the only hit of the album, "judgement day" is another one as well as "My Orion". On the other hand it's not the most "Thrash" track of the album, "Dissonance" is much more this role. And it is not because it is a hit that it is the best! Some tracks are made to be listened to and often are the best in terms of composition, sound, aggressiveness and speed. The best track of the album is "Soldier stands solitarily" without any doubt for me according to my personal taste. This track rips your head off, cuts you into little pieces and throws you into the flames.

Fantastic song from a fantastic album, but it 's not my favorite...Clockwork Immortality is a master piece. But this album is close to be up there

It is funny that you guys say you prefer this studio music video over the live footage when everyone else keeps telling all reactors that they are so much better live, it is a fight I have been having with everyone who makes those claims. I always tell them all not to make those claims as it takes away from the audio recording (albums and EPs) and music videos for the new listeners and newcomers. I personally love it all and I have been with Lovebites since the beginning back in 2017 with "Don't Bite the Dust" their debut song and EP "The Lovebites EP", and they were hated back then everyone couldn't stand Asami's voice but guess what they all eventually ate their own words. In fact, I am the one who came up with the name for the fan base "The Wolfpack" during that time and it stuck. Only I am no longer a part of this so-called Wolfpack, too much riffraff ruined it for me, it's not the same anymore. Awesome reaction to Miyako's composition and the other 3 she wrote is just as phenomenal, I do like the Mao compositions but Miyako is a much more prolific writer and incorporates many styles and genres in her compositions including the classical element. I see this is your first time ever doing Lovebites (Judgment Day album) and have not even touched any of their older stuff. Guys, I have a different opinion. It is good that you listen to the music before you react to it. You hear it fast and analyze the piece and tell as you study. That IS COOL to me.

It be unfortunate if you didnt include the 2 heaviest (Female) Japanese metal bands, Nemophila & HanabiE, one screams like a total badass, the other growls as good as any female I suggest first try live video, no post production crap... RAW and BRUTAL!
