It's incredible! I'm wondering if this is a song Lovebites plays live often, or if it is saved as a once in a while treat? 🤘🐺

⁠@@shorecat You need to realise the timeline. This performance is only months after the song was released. Within months of the concert, Miho left. The next time the band could perform was over 18 months after her departure. At the two shows on 11th and 12th March in Tokyo, they played a different set each night. By now, Judgement day had been released, and there were two songs, one from the same EP as “Transylvania” and “Nameless Warrior” that were given live debuts, as well As Stand and Deliver and Judgement Day. Given that at this stage they had a 60 track catalogue, they are now in “what do we play and what do we leave out?” territory. One song is guaranteed to be played at any Lovebites concert. “Diamonds and Rust”, Judas Priest’s Joan Baez cover, the last track of the warm up tape. Recently, Don’t Bite The Dust is almost guaranteed, though a quick check reveals that I was mistaken in thinking it had been played at every Lovebites concert. Not according to Setlist.fm! It was never a regular feature early on.

I definitely recognized the Beethoven influence on that guitar intro, and think it's great how Lovebites pay tribute to classical composers. @@shorecat Five GCA students built 4 Guitars together with Midori , The Arrow, the white FRX, purple Horizon FR, just like her Reindeer blue one, but with EMG pick ups and gold hardware and a red GCA from Osaka based on the ESP Mystique

Midori is something else, but I can't forget about Miyako! Two guitar goddesses! 🤘🐺

@@shorecat Yes, Miyako is also a great guitarist and pianist! All five members of LOVEBITES are Heavy Metal goddesses!

I actually prefer the music video sound of the guitars for this song than the live. I do prefer Asami's live vocals to the studio track though.

I love seeing Lovebites live performances the most, but I also enjoy the music videos to see the artists creative vision connected with the song. 🤘🐺
