WES and Cassandra met on a dating app and hit it off immediately. Talking to Love Don't Judge, Wes explained: "I think it was an immediate connection to be quite frank and we also love fashion, so that's definitely something that pulled us closer together." Standing at 5'10" tall, Cassandra is five inches taller than Wes, who is 5'5" - and their height difference is something that many like to comment on. Wes said: "Some of the misconceptions that people make is that I can't protect her, she is not feminine, that I suffer from short man syndrome." Cassandra added: "There are some people who say the most vile and nasty things about our height difference." In this episode of Love Don't Judge, the couple will be having an honest conversation with Cassandra's brother, Curtis, to see what he really thinks about their relationship. Speaking candidly with his brother-in-law, Wes asks: "Would you ever date a woman who's taller than you?"

😂 99% of the time, women are the ones making an issue about height. Men don't turn down women because of height but women will determine everything based off a man's height. It is a simple scientific fact of Evolutionary Biology. Girls are subconsciously programmed to a genetically blessed mens (5.8-6+ tall, symmetrical body and face, healthy hair, teeth etc), to protect their healthy gene poll. Men's Height is extremely important in most female populations.

I relate to this so much. Im 6'1 and my man is like 5'10. It can be so difficult to deal with other peoples opinions. There are always lots of assumptions being made by people who have never walked the path of being a woman who is taller than most of the people around her. "Dont you want a man taller than you???" Baby nobody ever looked at me twice, nobody ever expressed interested in me, and when I find my person who actually enjoys how tall I am I'm just supposed to cut him loose because I'm bigger than him? Im 6'2 and wear heels & my fiancé is 5'4 his height was never a factor or problem for me. I genuinely never paid attention to it. I love him for who he is & how he treats me.He's very confident & secure in who he is. And he's definitely a protector, i feel the safest with him than past guys who were taller or as tall as me. I've seen people literally pass up on the person that was everything they prayed for because the person was either taller or shorter than them.

Your words hit like a Ted Talk and a praying grandmother's wisdom spirit lashing for me!😊 Although, I have friendships with shorter men-- I refused to get serious because of my issues with having a shorter man. I can honestly say, I missed out on a blessing. I recognize MY issues stem from being teased in high school for liking someone shorter. Unfortunately, the taunting is still imprinted subconsciously . After seeing this video and reading your comment, I am pledging to live fully confident--open to love; regardless of statue (while wearing my heels ) . Thank you for giving me the boost.

I am 5"3", and my first true love girlfriend was 6'2" . I was working in a sweat shop dress, making a factory on the west side of Manhattan. They hired her, and the men went crazy over her. I didn't notice because I always focused on my job. One day I received a note from a coworker. It was her and it had her name and number on i. I threw it away. I don't like jokes like that. 2 days later she walked up to me and ask," why didn't you call me"? In a heavy New York accent. I said," I thought that they were joking ". Then she give it to me agai and I called her. I did put up a fight because I thought she wanted to use me or she was nuts which I freely told her. She said," nope, you didn't care what I look like and I don't care what you look like, I want someone real". We dated for 2 years with ( social pressure ) on me of course. We broke up because I had joined the Army. Never saw or talked to her ever again. That was 45 years ago.

One of them is lying about their height, thats not a 5" difference, thats like a whole foot. I speak from experience cause I'm 5'5 and I have friends who are 5'10 and we've taken pictures standing next to each other and the difference in height is not this great, so either she's taller or he's shorter, but there's no way that's a 5" height difference.

My mom is 5'11" and my dad was 5'6". They married in the 70s, and my dad had a big afro, so it wasn't as noticeable, but even after he changed hairstyles, no one really batted an eye. (My brother and I are 6'5" and 5'8", so dad would've been the shortest person in the house, had he lived past 1997)

I'm 5'8" and my boyfriend is also 5'8" and before him I've been with men short then me and I'm the past it did bother me because I was so self conscious and young but now looking back that was stupid of me. I wouldn't wear heels and worried about how we looked since I was taller. I wish I could if told my younger self to not care do much. They are a good fit for each other and the people who have an issue with them are probably miserable in their own lives.

He seems to have a beautiful spirit. I wonder, thought truly does she feel protected deep inside, though being that she is taller/bigger than him? I only say that because the biological chemistry of a woman, 90% of the time only feels protected against threats when a man is larger/taller. She would know if she is attacked or threatened that her man can protect her physically. All of the best.

I’m 5’9, I get approached by mostly tall men but I prefer shorter men. 5”5 to 5”8 is the height that I prefer.

@@KZfaqUzername oh for sure. As a 5'8 guy I know that first hand. Dated several women taller than me from 5'9-6'4. But as a guy who sometimes prefers to be the shorter partner it was just cool to hear a woman who actually prefers being the taller partner as well. Of all the women I dated who were taller, only 1 of them actually preferred it herself. And one other liked it for my sake once we were together, though it wasn't her own preference.

When Wes said and my wife that's when I flip the phone to full screen. When I was at child at church there was a couple there and the guy was close to migiet size and his wife gad to be 6'1 and to be honest kids are quite observant and I didn't notice no one treat them odd and It wasn't alarming to me I didn't think of that memory until now.
