An aerial tour of the Lovelock paleoindian cave area. Also views of the exotic Jungo Terrane. (Geologic formations are named for local site names where the original research was done. Jungo is a railroad siding in the nearby Black Rock Desert.

I've been watching a number of videos about the Younger Dryas Impact. Very interesting and seems plausible given the flooding that has taken place all over the West. There are some recent discoveries of similar floods taking place in the East as well, but because of the amount of erosion due to a wetter climate, it has been harder to find. We recently moved to NV, so I'm looking forward to my husband flying me over many of the areas you have showcased. Thanks for all the information you share!

Anthony Zamora has videos that show his evidence based on mathematical ballistics. He traces the impact fragment ovals, from the Midwest to the Atlantic coast, back to the airburst site over the Pleistocene ice cap. Randall Carlson also has been working on this for 40 years. His channel has a variety of other YD impact researchers.

Who knows? The area on the other side of the black mountain has been a bombing range since WWII. During that war pilots from the Fallon base used Pyramid Lake and several area valleys for target practice. Ranchers were upset when they strafed cattle. Put a 22-year-old in a dive bomber and anything can happen : -)

The 4000 foot elevation shoreline of the last level of ancient Lake Lahontan. From the 9,000 foot above sea (ASL) flight the 100 foot cliffs are a flattened view.
