Precious hamsters, cozy home made with a lot of love and detail. One observation. I had a little hamster that did not have the right ladder. Like this one, it was too steep and slippery. She used to jump to get down. After two years, her legs became arthritic from all that strain. She dragged her legs even though the rest of her was fine. She was so energetic and positive, but it made me so sad seeing her drag herself up the ladder. Ladders should have good grip and designed like a ramp (like the one you have on the side of the upper house), so hamsters can walk normally on it.

Never have such a steep especially for baby hamsters and try to limit the their environment in terms of ramps and spaces from which they can jump, fall or otherwise slip. Thank you!

The bedding is fine, hamsters can have a huge variety of substrates, it's good to try out different types and create a natural environment for them :)

She isn't eating them. Mother hamsters carry their babies with their teeth, it doesn't hurt them. In some cases small animals can eat their young, but it's usually down to human interference with the babies early on.
