After several attempts, it finally clicked. I did go to the bead and button site to look at a written pattern and it helped a lot! Stacked little boxes! I do not like the colors I had originally chosen (turquoise bicones and clear 6 # fireline - I do not have 8#) since I do not like to see the thread. I will certainly be making these earrings as soon as I change the colors around a bit! Thanks Kelly for another wonderful project!

Kelly, hi, it has been awhile since I wrote to you. But now I have an Amazon tablet and I am able to watch your new videos. I think if you would have used a flat matte colored crystal instead of a shiny one it would have been easier when using a dark thread. That is what would worked for me. I am in constant awe of your teaching abilities, so I went and bought Diane Fitzgerald's book. Thanks from JoAnn in NM

These are so pretty! And I have a boatload of long headpins. Yay! I never heard of or thought to do RAW with only 3 boxes or squares (of 4 beads) per unit making up the circumference or thickness instead of 4 or more. Really great to have that revelation. TFS! Just 1 question: what gauge of headpin did you use? Gonna try this right away.
