I love that Hin got his screentime.. It was not easy to complete the novel and even after completion his novel was rejected.. Bua just clearly mentioned he was there to look after Gene.. Just wish his novel gets popular and adopted in a series too😌

i can feel the pain and conflict hin has in choosing over his friend or his career and the actor did so well portraying that emotion thru the dialogue wHEW

yes finally someone who mentioned his acting skills! the way his voice (unconsciously) got louder and more forced when talking to gene shows that he was trying not to cry. u could tell that his voice was on the verge of cracking/breaking but he held it in bcus he didn’t want to worry gene. it’s a very micro detail in that scene and i’m really happy that someone caught it too (actor’s name is kenji wasin for anyone interested!)

Hin really is a decent human being. His phone call scene was beautiful, I question some of the camera angle choices, but that final zoom out when he was crying signifying how alone and isolated he feels at that moment...gold star!

Let me take a minute to talk about my favorite character of this series: Hin. I don't know why but the minute he came on screen first episode he was my favorite. His outfit was so cute and his personality was electric. What a good friend he is. Risking his job just so Gene can be with someone he loves. I want to see him succeed! More importantly I want to hug him! I was crying with him! Let my boy be successful!!

Hin is a literal angel. He's being pressurized by everything and instead of cracking from the weight of it all he sticks by his friend and does what he thinks is right. Also, I teared up a little bit when he said, " Gene if I didn't love you, then who would I love?" Such a sweet fucking human!!

@@kenzoflower4574 He feels very stressed and alone right now, the poor guy. 🥺 The boss wench Bua wants him to "fix the problem" (ie. break up Gene and Sib) so their "sales" might improve. She refused his novel and threatened to fire him because he's not Gene's nanny, while he's just trying to be a good friend and support his family.

This made Hin very human and gave him more depth. I used to be annoyed with how nosey and invasive he was from the very first episode, but now I see he genuinely cherishes Gene. He's also one of the few to point out how vicious Aey is. I started liking him a bit.

tbh its not Bua's fault. even her upper heads r bugging her. its a fandom problem with people not respecting the privacy of actors and understanding that there is difference between professionalism and private life. it happens in real life as well and is one of the most toxic things esp in the BL world.

@@thatperson8741 Bua has been on the wrong side for this entire series, though. She doesn't listen to the true wishes of her employees and she's selfish, demanding, and stubborn. I get that she's going along with what sells, but she could at least try to strike a compromise with Gene on his work. Also her refusing to look at Hin's manuscript was 100% wrong, full stop. That's on her, not the higher ups

I love how Hin's story was handled so thoughtfully, it came across really natural. Also the music in the background while he talks with his mom is very good. I would buy that if I knew the title and composer.

The way Hin's face crumbled when his mom called made me tear up! He's facing so much pressure now from his awful boss and his choice to support/protect Gene made him worry about his future as well. He deserves a gold star! Hopefully, Gene can help him get his novel published once the rumours blow over.

I’m gonna take a moment to appreciate all of the spectacular acting in this series! Every actor/actress understood the assignment they were given and even gave us extra credit. They all did an incredible job at delivering each characters personality and emotions.

I just want to give some appreciation for Hin's mom usually most parents in Asia keep on discouraging their children to make them do what the parents want (idk about all the Asian parents but all my friend's parents are just like that)....

To be honest I really feel bad for both Hin and Tum like Tum even warned them and Hin was so sweet to not say much to Gene and check upon him. Irl entertainment industries managers are so mistreated like if stars do anything the managers are the ones to face fire from the company... Gene and Nubsib really had to come out and talk to the respective companies before they had let this issue get bigger.

Me encanta que Hin consiguiera su tiempo de pantalla. No fue fácil completar la novela e incluso después de completarla fue rechazada. Bua simplemente mencionó claramente que estaba allí para cuidar de Gene. Solo desearía que su novela se hiciera popular y adoptada en un serie también😌

Kinda wish they went into Hin more. We got alot of Tum Tiff in the series which I appreciate bc they deserved it and needed it but Hin had alot to offer. He was gone for like 5 episodes and while they were busy productive episodes I feel like room could have been made for him.
