When I was a teen I moved suddenly from high school in Blackstone Virginia. But I talked to a girl every day but we never dated. In year 200 we moved to Maryland without me saying goodbye or nothing. Lost my true love 21 years and 4 months ago after over 5 years of love affair. Once I hit this video I had to think of her and (once again) tears started to roll. By now I'm a married man with children, but I know that I lost my one true love all that time ago. There is probably no way I'm ever going to meet her again and maybe that's the better alternative. I can still remember every moment with her, every touch, most of our conversations, our dances in the moonlight, it's all present as if it was just yesterday. This video brought a lot of suppressed memories back and thankfully my family is out right now, so that I have time to recompose myself. Moral of the story: Don't let him or her go until you are totally sure it's the right decision. Some mistakes can never be undone.

Thank you for sharing your story. I have a similar one. The person I loved and I both have married other people, have families. I am happy, I wouldn’t leave my current spouse, but every day I still think of that special love, still have dreams at night of us being in love, and every day I bless him in my heart and wish him well. I just want him to be happy. We broke up in 1998.

I saw her after 6 years today, fortunately she didn't see me. Covid did a lot lot of damage to economy, but it also brought me back to my hometown friend's and family. Now that I look back I realise that true success is when you gain true relationships with people. I managed to find out she has been single all this time. I just do not have the courage to walk up to her , not after how I left. Its 3 am in the morning needed to let this thought out no better place than youtube comments lol.

If shes been single all this time theres a good chance youre the reason why as thats what I did for years until I reconnected with him, no one else got me even close to as excited so I just stopped trying. I first watched this video when my BF/my soulmate told me to watch it. Today after a period of 6 years we are no longer together, we drifted ways, we are both married to different partners. Both of us have moved on and are happy (atleast i believe) in our own lives. But true love doesn't keep happening. It happens only once in ur life jus that things work out sometimes or it might not. We may end up bein together or not, but your soulmate happens once, cuz u know even if you are not together, ur heart skips a beat, ur eyes get welled up, u smile at the good memories over n over again, u wish the best for each other. U hope n pray they are safe. U yearn for one just glimpse of that person. Isnt that soulmate for lives beyond? Given a chance i don't want to change anything i have today but deep in my soul, i get the feeling we were soulmates and will always be. I cannot convey these feelings anymore but i am feeling it deep within my soul.....somewhere at a distance his soul might be feeling the same. Worlds apart yet together.... always n beyond.

I can totally understand this feeling. I’ve always believed in deeper connections and when I met the guy I feel this for, him and I both knew the connection was very deep, unlike any other. He was a bit older, he his own life and I just walked into it. I never knew I would get myself mixed in a love affair and even though I felt lied to, I know for a fact that the feeling there were real and it was just bad timing for both of us. He eventually admitted to it. Telling me I’m the best thing that happened to him at the wrong time. We went out separate ways. There is nothing I want to say to him, nor do I want him to reach out to me.. yet I feel so much love for him. Its strange. I do believe this type of connection between people is rare, but fortunately I got to experience something similar when I was around the age of 17. The guy was 26. Nothing ever happened we had only exchanged words, he was a client at the store I worked. Anyone could feel the connection. People were just mesmerised by how strong it was for what basically was two strangers. 1,5 years it lasted until I quit my job. For that reason I believe that one day, hopefully I will experience the same again

My dad as a young man used to be a TV repair man. He was good friends with an aerial installer so when the guy needed his TV fixed he would call my dad, he met the guys wife and daughter. Years later he went out on a date with a barmaid, when he met her parents it was the same aerial repair guy, she was the girl he used to say hi to when he'd fix her families TV. 44 years later and still married to that same woman who is my mum. True love will find you even if you don't know it yet.

My first love reconnected with me a few days ago. We were forced apart by controlling parents and my parents wouldn't let me go to prom with him, we were going to meet but we couldn't. i am having the same experience right now but obviously very different in the details, he was my prom date, but our family always manipulated us into fighting and breaking up. After several failed relationships, a baby I had with another man, he still loves me and accepts my child as his own (he was actually there for me more than the father of my child was during newborn stages, and for my son). Sorry Im rambling. But we are finally working things out as adults after 8 years of knowing each other and taking things step by step this time. ❤

I had two loves in my life. Each hurt in a different way. But this video made me think of only one. The love you feel for somebody, so intense, so bad that it hurts. I’m thankful for having felt this love, but I hate it because it hurts, 4 years later and it hurts so much. Why the person that you love the most is the one that breaks your heart?
