HI, we have the same issue at the 4:39 mark. Your revenue data on GA4 is not showing here. Any ideas on how to track it there? Since UA has no problem tracking it.

Great Info!!! Please help me with this I could not able to see Total ad review in the Monetization overview tab. My google ads account is linked with GA4. Why am not seeing any data there? Any suggestions

Hi... thanks for this and it helped. But in our view we see session google ads campaign and if we try to add a secondary dimension, the google ads additional dimension of keyword or content is not available. The only available parameter is session manual term. and if we add that or session campaign dimension against google ad session campaign the google ads metrics are not available. Is there a way to have two dimensions and all metrics from ga4 as well as google ads as our numbers for session and users in explorer is highly sampled

Amazing video as always, Benjamin! I just wanted to ask the audience and you how are you dealing with trademarks in google ads? For me its an issue since we need to use other vendors’ names.

You'll need permission to use a trademark in your ad copy. However, you're probably okay to use them as keywords (you'll need to check any local laws/regulations though). In some cases, the trademark owner will need to authorize your use (see details under the 'Authorize advertisers to use your trademark' heading on this page - support.google.com/adspolicy/answer/2562124).

Has anyone found a way to create useful Campaign and Ad Group reports? The Click and CPC data isn't populating or correct when we try. This has been a huge step backwards from UA's Google Ads reporting so far.

Thats great Thanks. Very useful but not working for me. I can see Google Ads data in GA4 but then I tried creating a report but some of the Google Ads metrics are greyed out and I can't import them so cant create a report - plus I am getting a message that says No data for this combination of segments, values, filters and date range. Try editing the variables or settings or remove them. Though data has been available and linked to Google Ads for some time. I dont really know why it is not showing :) looks like a call to support :(

Hi! My google ads and my ga4 are linked but I dont see cpc traffic in google analytics 4. I can see the gclid when I click on my ad. Any ideas?

I’d start by checking the measurement ID that’s implemented on your website and then I’d check that Google Ads is linked to the correct property.

@@LovesData it is. I also imported the ga4 conversions to ads and this works just fine. Analytics is showing all sources/medium just not cpc for some reason..

@@LovesData I am having the same issue. When clicking an ad i can see the glid but I am missing CPC data. When checking UA data almost all data is Paid traffic and in GA4 I have allot of direct and organig traffic. Any idea?

I have been running ads all year - when I go to create this report (google ad text v search terms) I get this message - any help as to why ? What should I look at to fix this ? - ERROR message from analytics - "No data for this combination of segments, values, filters, and date range. There are a number of Google Ads dimensions you can use in exploration reports. If you click to add a dimension and then search for 'Google Ads', you will see them listed under two headings. The first is 'Attribution' and the second is 'Traffic Source'. If you try to use a dimension listed under 'Attribution' and you don't have any conversions configured you will see the error message you've mentioned. So to fix this, you can use one of the dimensions under 'Traffic Source' and/or configure conversions.

I recommend checking that the correct Google Ads account is linked and that auto-tagging is enabled. And if you’re still having issues, you’ll need to contact Google Ads support.

@@LovesData Thanks, it is connected but I can only see one test campaign and not the other campaigns that are running. Any idea why this would be? I have sent a message to Google Ads support, thanks
