Makes sense! My daughter is much more of a dollhouse/dolls pretend play, she likes her brother or me to build the path and then just wants to play around it haha

Haha yeah i've been impressed with the durability of the microscope! I was hesitant at first letting my 2 year old play with it, but it's done amazing! And the weekly planner is *chefs kiss* haha my daughter sets it up each day and lovesss it, i kind of just hybrided it into her "chores" too

I just looked at it, i think I'd go with the other dupes I outline in the post for this! I don't think the kiwico would be "bad" necessarily but the price of it compared to others doesn't necessarily stack up (unless you just like the look of it over them). It only includes 6 specimen slides (and it looks like it's just those 6, not like where lovevery has 2 slides but each with like 10 specimen on them), though it does include a small "scavenger hunt" sheet which is fun; and then the microscope doesn't come off the base I don't think (no photos shown of it, and it doesn't look like you could roll it past the green bits, I could be wrong!). If I was getting that few "done for you" slides, I'd go with the budget and most similar dupes I showed here because they are half the price (or more) of kiwicos - and then if I was spending that much, there are other picks that give you more specimen to play around with. Kiwico doesn't list their magnification on the website either so I'd say it's pretty average, but super cute!
