If anyone is interested, the original point of the tsurikawa rings was an act of rebellion in japan. Bosozoku guys would cut the rings off of subways and display them on their bumpers, and attach them inside for passengers while drifting. They were never heart shaped. Safe to say that trend got ruined lol

I spoke with a guy that had an R/T that was really dragged out. He popped the hood and it had twin turbos. According to him the 5.7 was the only hemi block that will take the boost he throws to it. Said it was all about the cylinder wall thickness. Not a mopar man myself, but sounded reasonable

Maybe before the BGE block existed that made sense. The bge aka hellcat 6.2l or 18+ scat 6.4l blocks are the strongest production blocks made from mopar or of the manufacturers for that matter because it’s iron not aluminum no sleeves needed. The blocks can handle 2000 plus hp. That guy is high with the rt.

@@wutang80oc39 Most but not all. The hellephant is aluminum and their 1500hp variant is also aluminum both gen 3 hemi based. Although not for street use so I guess you have a point it’s not really production as In sold for the street to average Joe but you can order it as an average Joe and race it all the same. Also I believe some of their drag paks used aluminum blocks for weight savings gen3 hemi based as well.

In all seriousness, I think you'll find that this is a generational shift. Most of the people who made the car scene what it was back in the day have grown up, not in the sense the culture died but they got wives, jobs, kids and responsibilities and also just tired. Night meets turned into weekend coffee and cars monthly to catchup. There's still the odd good night scene around but as instant gratification became the norm for the younger kids, so did the hard work and time to create higher quality builds when temu and alibaba can do a cheap aesthetic that makes them happy (the owner). I honestly feel that the early 2000s were the last wholesome cultural times to be a part of. Catching up with the lads and our nightly missions were truly something

Just to waffle more, this also can be said for gaming too and is where the realization came from originally for me, you've still got the name Bungie and Infinity Ward etc but the people who made those classic titles aren't there anymore, new teams take over, ideals change, morals shift with every person that runs their hands over an IP. Sometimes you've just gotta let it go and know it isn't the same thing you have in your memories Anway

I haven't gotten to power mods on my Mustang yet as I don't have much money to throw into it, hell I don't even have an exhaust yet, 95% of the money thrown into it is BC coils, BMR rear arms, RTR panhard, and GT500 front arms because all of the bushings along with the struts were shot when I got it, I've done a few cosmetic things here and there, but at least I have some actual mods done to it unlike most of this meet, honestly that combination of suspension parts has made the stock 300HP pretty fun to rip around

I’m here to defend the 5.7 once again. Although it is slow out the box, the 5.7 has massive tuning potential. It is a great option for the money. The only problem is that it comes in shitty cars. The 5.7 can take so much power before needing forged internals. The 6.4 is a 5.7 bored out that’s why 6.4 can’t take boost. 5.7s aren’t bad at all.
