is it me or does everyone who gets a 100v on youtube that came from canon or sony always edits their street photographs exactly the same and they never use the view finder.. just the lcd screen like a cellphone

I like your thoughts on this and that it sounds like you are happy with the craft again. I think I said this on a post the other day but your photos of late with the you are looking at lighting are just so in point. 👍🏾 You need a tweed jacket now though 😂

I bought x100v, at first all of my photos were crap, in a month I managed to get used to it and do cool photos in a daylight from time to time, but now I'm struggling with low-light photos, even on f2 and iso12800 ISO AUTO sets my shutter speed to 20-30 in an areas with neon lights, or something like a jungle-themed restaurants with many small light sources T_T But watching your videos and results keep me believe that it's still possible to do cool night shots without stabilization and full-frame (if my camera isn't fake lol)

Hey what camera settings did you use? Everytime I shoot in low light on Aperature priority, it shoots very slow and the pictures end up blurry.

Nice video. I noticed that my x100v heats up very quickly even just scrolling through the menu after two minutes and it overheated once when I first started setting setting up the camera.... Does yours have the same issue?

What do you think the best metering mode is for nighttime shooting? These are beautifully lit and I really struggle with that. I know the street lights help light the scene but you seem to really keep the scene bright here

I do believe I’m on spot metering, anything my single point focus hits will meter for that, I haven’t really tested anything else out.

None - these were all my own edits with the Raw files. More jpeg only content coming soon though!

Great shots! Can I ask what your F-stop/ISO etc was for these photos?

Because this is all at night, the f/stop would be it's lowest at f2. ISO between 400-1000 most likely.
