Looks good, but what I like about ceiling fans is that they move lots of air very quietly. This seems like having a loud box fan where a ceiling fan belongs.

The fan turning in different directions isn't a preference, as she made it sound. I'm a floridian, tip: Counterclockwise in the summer (air blows straight down), clockwise (air stays on the ceiling blowing towards the walls) for cooler days.

We have these fans and like the look. Nice and quiet. We even have one in the theater room. The only issue with these fans is that the fan sits inside the led surround, and the air doesn't go around the room but instead is guided down by the surround. Just be aware of that issue.

These fans I recommend that you do not buy because they’re horrible at keeping a room cool if your room or your place is bigger than 10 x 9 I guarantee you they will not work. I’ve tried many of them. I like them because they allow more space in ceiling space. Sadly, there very horrible fans. If you don’t care about cooling I think you’ll be a great fan for you definitely in style.

Agree the fan won’t turn off but the remote is working waste of money
