@@MOJAHED-XAN The Witcher 3 is my favorite game. It has made me appreciate Death Stranding, God of War, Kingdom Come Deliverance, Red Dead Redemption 2 and Spider-Man even more than I would have. I actually felt lonely after completing The Witcher 3. First time in my 20 year gaming history. I have loved a lot of games and felt empty after completing many of them but The Witcher 3 was something else. Kind of changed what people expected from open world games completely. People realized open world games can be detailed as hell.

This game is a masterpiece. It's not for restless people who always crave action and thunder. This game teaches you so much. Patience, the truth of life and death, the little moments of joy even in times of remorse. Damn.. Kojima Sir, you are awesome.

The most accurate statement anyone has said about this game. It's incredible.
@Memnoch_the_Devil10 ай бұрын
Those people who try to treat this like a regular video game and speed through are the ones who never make it past Port Knot City at the end of the Chapter 2. Then those very same people feel that they are more qualified to critique the game than those who took their time and allowed themselves to have this surreal experience. I don’t mind that this game isn’t for everyone. I’ve said so on many occasions. What I mind is people who have played somewhere between 5-10 hours somehow acting like they can judge the game as being “nothing more than a walking simulator” or “boring” or claim that anyone who likes the game is just some Kojima fanboy. My wife for one had never played a story driven game in its entirety until she saw me playing this game off and on for a year. Then one night she picked it up, eventually finished it (many tears later) and I’m proud to say she is now a gamer. She had no idea who Kojima was and this is her favorite game ever. Take that, haters! Lol

@@ghuldorgrey agree. DS was one of the two biggest hypes in my entire life (the other one was Skyrim) but what I got was nonsensical, deprived of common sense story and tedious gameplay. Most songs don't suit the game at all making it look and sound generic hipster as hell. I will hardly forget GoW and even RDR 2 but Death Stranding was an average game with some memorable moments. Sadly, they don't save the whole game.

@@leesasuki Its not about not understanding it, at all. Game is weak and full of plot holes, unimmersive as fuck whenever there is a dialogue going because its either silly or corny(its because of the culture shift, it happens in every western-focused game/show made by asians). Only commendable things about the game is how uniform the gameplay is, and how original the world/lore is. Rest of it is absolute trash. This is of course, purely from a technical "game design" standpoint, it doesnt mean you cant love or play the game or anything.

What am I gonna do? No, my faith is dead While my body lays drenched In the ashes of a forgotten time It's hard when you come To realize someone's Path is headed elsewhere in life So baby, walk your way I'll walk mine But I'll stop to think of you From time to time Oh now what am I to do? Davon For most of the scenes with music so far in my play through, it feels like for whatever mission I’m doing, there’s only one real route to take which helps. Obviously Kojima wants the player to experience these sections so the map is designed in a specific way.
