A piece of nature the ornament of our living room, and also the home of a betta family. Optimal habitat for a betta that’s why I was able to make them breed. The “puppies” are getting bigger and bigger so they will move soon to an other aquarium. It’s absolutely low demand, a bit of fertilizer, water change and feeding the fish, that’s it. From distance it looks still but when you get closer you will see the buzz inside. I had to add more lights, since more lighting power was necessary(2x aquael leddy plant) due to the dark water. I did not calculate with this during the building process. Since there is quite low light in the aquarium I only can keep low demand and slow growing plants like crypto, buce, anubias, microsorum. It really adorable and easy to maintain world to have.

You realize how expensive and time consumming it is to make this kind of set up?
@raredanceclassics
@raredanceclassics 4 жыл бұрын
@@poslacionitakam7462 Time consuming? Yeah a bit. Expensive? That depends. I made a wonderful 5 gallon setup using a petsmart brand 5 gallon tank a bit of driftwood, fluval stratum and some low care plants (watersprite is easy and will grow like crazy and give a nice place for your betta to rest on, chain sword is also cheap and will eventually cover a ton of ground entire area). I think I have invested a total of 110 bucks (only reason its that high is that I'm pretending I didn't just have left over stratum and had to buy a whole bag to assume you had nothing) including the cost of my betta? I didn't go blackwater but it wouldn't have been wildly expensive to do so or anything. Just boil some dead botanicals and throw them in. You don't need a big plant emerging from the top, it can actually be dangerous with some Bettas to be open top since some will decide to eventually try hopping out.

These fish are native to the mei Kong river. In march the river was so polluted it turned black, 60 million people rely on the river in one way or an other. So yeah, currently a biotope for a betta should be toilet water and a random assortment of garbage.

Thanks the ebook is very well made and clear. I'll add that at least in Europe you can get suitable spring water in bottles, it's very convenient for nano tanks. In France the Volcania and Volvic brands are perfect for soft acidic water tanks. The Volcania is cheaper than osmosed water from a pet store and can be found easily.

buy a little tank as 19litre just the glass,buy a little airpump for give to water some waves,a cheap led from ebay or place on your own like those who use on desks,go to a store and tell to crack a liitle wood for your (little tank) and place anubia nana on it,some surface plants (are cheap) one little bag gravel,a cheap thermostat for those litres and place it on 28degrees,for food buy a betta dry food and cut a little fish and squeeze it with little garlic and place it on freezing and give it to fish every second day. some little cinnamon sticks on the tank ance a while,help a lot for the health of bettas. for the set up ask from the store to give you 2 litres water from their tanks (for free of course ), place all the staff on tank and your declorinate water and drop some scare food every day for the bacteria and place the fish after a week. if you want declorinate the water just take some bottles or a basin fill the water and let them open,after one day the chlorium was evaporate. change the 30% off water 2 times the week,dont fill up the tank untill top because the bettas jump,lets say 6cm from the top. thats it,you will be an owner for a happy betta fish,simple with low cost!

@camelliahyacinth5926
@camelliahyacinth5926 4 жыл бұрын
Betta won't jump (typically) if they are not stressed they jump to be able to get to a better him with more food/water and or to breed. The snails will stay in the water where the food is.
@melanielin3029
@melanielin3029 4 жыл бұрын
In my experience fish will jump and snails will crawl out of the tank only if there's something stressing it out. It could be the water parameters or another tank mate disturbing them. But you should also know that some snail species are intertidal and will crawl above the water line for a while, and you don't need to worry because they can store a small amount of water in their shells. However, if you notice your snail constantly doing this, you need to get a cover of some sort (make sure there's enough space for the snail to be completely above the waterline) because they can wonder away from the tank! You might not find it in time as it could dry out. Happened to my snail once, found it two days later. Thankfully it was fine.

You create the best aquascaping videos in the world! I've watched Green Aqua, MD Fish, George Farmer and Co-Op Aquariums, and your style, filming, music and creativity is the best. You also create cheaper alternatives in terms of lighting and general construction. Well done from a fish keeper of 40 years! Beauty in nature forever.

This aquarium is a paradise for your beautiful Betta. For us humans, instead, looking at these images, turned with skillful mastery of light and colors, is something absolutely relaxing, intoxicating, catapulted into another world. A fantastic world. Congratulations.

After the first couple of seconds I went into fullscreen and BOY did I not regret that. The quality of this video is amazing. This is my new dream tank. Don't know if my current betta will still be alive when I have the money and time to set something like this up, he's quite old already, but one day I hope to give a betta such a cool home!
