They matter; they just aren't really dealbreakers in this game. Fight a tourney Fox with Bowser in Melee and you'll see where they do

For anyone who wants to know what happened at 0:27 tye kirby pulled a bomb, then snake dash attacked, picked up the bomb, then at the apex of kirby's throw, the bomb blew up 😂

there are three types of tier's at the peak of smash there's high tier, top tier and perfect tier unfortunately our favorite penguin felt lonely being in perfect tier alone so he decided to humor himself and put himself in low tier to make the rest of the cast feel better. Kirby also decided to join low tier because he wanted to be around his BBF (best bud forever) but of course metaknight was having trouble holding back which is why he's not low tier like the other two (give him a break guys he's trying his hardest)

To say they don't matter at ALL is incorrect, but Ultimate is balanced enough that they don't. Sometimes they really do matter, as you'll see in Melee where I don't see the best Bowsers pulling it off against a pro Fox

Tier lists may show who wins on paper, but in ultimate that doesn’t matter at all, also I have no idea why Kirby is considered bottom tier, he’s stupid good and JeJa shows it

Kirby is bottom tier due to stubby buttons and terrible air speed, his saving grace is his aerials but ganondorf has good aerials too and we all know where he lies on the tier list

no he should not. his only real saving grace is that he's strong. he's heavy, but that means it's easier to combo him and his recovery is bad, so he won't even live that long anyway. also all of his options are bad and slow and having two joke moves on really important move slots (up tilt and neutral b) hurts him even more
