Dear Friends, This is the first episode of my Kalash Valley Season in which we will start our journey from Lowari Top and go to Kalash Valley as you know Avon Valley is called Gateway to Kalash Valley from Lowari Top to Avon Valley. The distance is about 60 km while the distance of Kalash Bomburit Valley is about 75 km. First through Mal Hai Lowari Top, Darosh Ata Hai Darosh is a historic town situated at an altitude of 4499 feet above the sea level along the river Chitral. And the land here is very fertile
The Avon Valley, considered the gateway to the Kalash Valleys, is one of the most beautiful tourist destinations in the Chitral district of Pakistan. Full of lush greenery and rich history, this valley is a peaceful and serene valley away from the fast-paced, modern world.
Ayon Valley in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province of Pakistan is located about 12 km south of Chitral city. This valley serves as a base camp for the famous Kalash valleys - Bumburet, Rumboor and Barrier. Nestled between the towering peaks of the Hindu Kush Mountains, this valley is at an altitude of about 4,500 feet above sea level.
A perfect haven for nature lovers, the Ayon Valley is full of lush green fields, orchards, rivers and snow-capped peaks.
The winding trails in the valley are perfect for hiking and trekking.
