Great review, and have picked this very bag (Chestnut brown!) after considering many others. It's better for my kit than the 170, especially if I carry the big Samyang 14mm which takes up a lot of room on it's own! Had to wait a while for the brown version as hard to come by, but well worth it. So thanks for the very informative review-especially knowing the rain cover doesn't stop access to the interior!

Thanks from across the water, Peter. I've used Lowe bags for decades; the old blue Magnum, a CompuTrekker Plus AW much like yours, a Sideline Shooter that's a great all-purpose fanny pack, and even my old computer backpack for the office. The pack I filled in 2006 with a D2X, 70-200, another lens or two, two SB strobes and other stuff, jammed it under the airplane seat, and headed to China to adopt our daughter who's headed to university in August! The Nova 180 looked online like what she needs for a Canon kit she's getting for graduation. Would Nikon only improve focusing, then they might be a contender, but i don't want to sour her with the focusing pains I went through with a D800E. I wasn't sure about the 180's height, though, but your rig looks quite a but longer than what she'll have, so I'll take a chance and order it. She's pretty tiny and the 200 might be a bit too large for her starting-out needs. Thanks again for taking the time to review the bag. KEEP UP YOUR GREAT SPIRIT!

Great presentation. Decided to buy the bag because of it. Love how much fits in it. Sadly I'm going to return it. Imo the balance of the bag is pretty bad. No matter how I pack it, it's always topheavy. When wearing it crossed (bag on the right, strap on the left shoulder) it always tends to tilt towards me. Strap is also cutting into my neck. I wish they would have placed the hooks on the sides under a small angle or a little off-center. I have another smaller bag that has this and it counters the tilting very well. If they would then this would have been the perfect bag.

Great video! I have a question. Can this bag carry two DSLR Cameras with lenses on? I have a Pentax K-5IIs with Pentax 100 mm macro and a Pentax k-S2 with a Pentax 18-135 mm and this is the only gear I carry for my kind of photography (hiking with my dog and shooting landscape and flowers). I think it can, but would like to have your opinion. If not then I know that Nova 190AW can surely do so.
